Came in for driver side headlight . needed a circuit board cost alone $1500 cdn called milton,ont freightliner cost and service total under $425.00 Go figure!!

Sorry but this place is a RIP OFF and the crew is dis-honest I visited this place with a rendez-vous in order to have the roof of my Mercedes 230 SLK looked at because it was misaligned An agent from the service desk drove my car into a bay at 9:30 am I went and sat in the showroom waiting area. At 10:00 am I curiously walked in the bay to see what was happening. I didn't see anyone working on the car. It was parked with the trunk closed and the hood open with a battery charger installed and charging my battery. I walked back in at 10;30, 11:00 and finally at 11:30 (every half hour) I didn't see anyone working on the car and the car was in the same exact position, trunk closed and battery charging I went back and sat in the waiting room,, around 11:45 am I saw threw the showroom window a mechanic walking towards the service area with a piece of paper in his hand. At 11:55 I walked back into the bay and saw that my car was gone and another was on the lift. as I went to the front of the building I noticed my car at the service door so I walked in the service area and asked about my car. I was told the roof needs two hinges and two cables to get it aligned and that none of the parts were in stock. So I asked for my bill for the service and I was presented with an invoice for 2 hours worth of work total $250.00 I asked how he arrived at 2 hours work and explained all the above. His answer was to shrugg and nod ...... I asked to speak to the mechanic ,, of coarse that never happened I insisted an experienced Mercedes mechanic only needs open the roof to notice it needs 2 hinges ,, total time would be less than 15 minutes ... I get that a garage would work on a car for less than an hour but charge an hours worth of shop charges but why 2 ? Since i wasn't getting anywhere with those two jokers at the counter, I paid my bill and left ,, I wouldn't even return there to wipe my feet on their welcome mat Be aware of their dishonest work practices and if you must go there because it's conveniently close,, never leave your car unattended, visiting these dishonest crooks Terry Response to the Owner ,, 1) Here is what your parts department gave me .... Says Cornwall Freightliner Mercedes Benz (both div of Fairview Garage) Clients don't really care what the legality of a dealers name is anyway. 2)My 15 plus year old Mercedes Benz needed 2 hinges and 2 cables 3) My self diagnosis? why would I come to you if I attempted a self diagnosis? ---- and I could've bought the parts ?? your own parts invoice states NO PARTS AVAILABLE ANYWHERE on one item PARTS AVAILABLE IN GERMANY for the second item PARTS AVAILABLE IN TORONTO on the last item. --- So, if there aren't PARTS AVAILABLE ANYWHERE, how could I have chosen to buy the parts 4) Since I visited the garage every 15 minutes and saw NO ONE next to my 15 year old Mercedes Benz AMG , I guess what you want me and others to believe is, it took your mechanic 15 minutes or less to diagnose the 2 hinges in question and ONE HOUR AND FORTY FIVE MINUTES to look up the part. I don't believe your mechanic is that computer dumb, I believe your parts counter people are crooks (who are trained to be that way) and further to point 3 above,, you need to be professional and look at what actually happened before you reply to a comment, and don't reply just to divert attention in an attempt to confuse the reader. they people install one part in your truck but charge u two time same part why? i have proof...............Sir after your reply today 11 sep 2019 i say somthing again if i pay 134 dollar per hour . part fit by your mechanic . why you charge me two time same part.please answer my this question ? . no excuse no story please

Worse place for service or diagnose a problem. within 3 weeks 2020 model truck went 4 times for same problem. but no reliable answer only you will get bills from them. If you will argue they will hold your truck unless you pay them, even without repair. inefficient mechanics, only working with guess work. Bully attitude of service manager. Never buy new trucks from them.

Service requirement, May 25, 2020. One of my trucks popped a NOx inlet sensor code as it neared Cornwall, so we had the truck stop in there unexpectedly around 3:00 PM. As I was calling the dealership to let them know we were coming, my truck pulled into their yard. So much for my giving them a head's up. Regardless, since we were under load, the service manager took the time to weigh out the fact that they, as an Elite service center, are required to triage the truck in two hours, or simply wait an extra hour when they would be able to triage the truck, and fix it at the same time. They offered me the choice. We opted to wait for the complete package. Repair was completed in about 2 hours, and we were on our way without issue. Service department personnel were well ahead of the game, and the mechanics were very aware of their responsibilities and repair procedures. Cornwall Freightliner certainly exemplifies their Freightliner Elite Service Center status. I would not hesitate to take other trucks there for any kind of service.

The team is great with repairs and friendly staff. The only issue I found was if you are in extreme circumstances and in a rush. They sometimes are so busy they are unable to get to the truck for a few days. All things considered a great option for your repair and service needs.
