B	Bill Long on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am somewhat perplexed by the last two Google comments made about Copper Island Fine Homes. Our experience was the complete opposite to what has been written. We recently had them build a home which would be considered high end. Their attention to detail during this construction was amazing. Dean, Tim, Chuck & Heidi demonstrated skills rarely found among trades. They took great pride in their work as if it was their own home being built. Any substandard work was corrected immediately either by themselves or by the sub-trades. If there was any hold back of payments by Copper Island it would only happen if sub standard work was not corrected. This did not happen with our build that took over 2 years. The followup after completion has also been remarkable. Any issues that we have had have been dealt with in a timely and professional manner which included having sub-trades revisit the site and correct deficiencies. There have been few. I honestly believe that if Z L did not get paid it would have been because of the unwillingness of this contractor to stand behind his product and substandard work. Bill

He was considerate of our budget and ideas, and his knowledge and expertise made our experience go very smoothly. The entire staff at Copper Island were professional, helpful, caring, and friendly. Dee was incredible in taking our vision and turning it into a beautiful design. We were thrilled with her attention to detail, all the while keeping our style in mind. Throughout demolition and construction, Chuck and Heidi kept us apprised of the progress and timelines. Any questions or concerns we had were immediately addressed. With every interaction, their desire to make sure we were happy and getting everything we wanted was evident. Of particular note, I would be remiss to not mention Kyla, Copper Island's interior decorator, whose eye for colour and style was invaluable, saving us considerable time and even money throughout the selection process. All of our guests have all been suitably impressed by our new home in Blind Bay. We therefore wanted a local builder with whom we could comfortably work with and trust in a long distance relationship; Greg and his Copper Island Fine Homes team clearly met those criteria. From start to finish, Greg and Kyla kept us up-to-date on the progress via almost daily e-mails, telephone calls, pictures or videos. Resolution of issues or decisions required throughout the building process where promptly dealt with, in most cases within 24 hours. Kyla’s decorating and shopping expertise was invaluable; her numerous timely suggestions/options and patience made the tedious selection process a more pleasant experience. In many instances, we simply left decisions to her excellent judgment. During our one and only site visit halfway through the construction phase, we were most impressed by the professional and friendly teamwork both within the Copper Island Fine Homes staff and with the various trades personnel. The home was ready on schedule and we are extremely pleased with the result; the high standard used, the attention to details and the little extras are definitively evident throughout the house. l	louise Syme on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot believe that any one who has dealt with this company, Greg and Tracey Vistisen and their very capable staff and contractors could give a review of anything less than 5 stars. From our very first meeting Greg made us feel that he was confident that they could build the home we wanted. And they did. We were quite specific that we wanted a West Coast Modern build in order to take advantage of our view overlooking Shuswap Lake. Greg gave us the name of Motivo and Design, in Kamloops, and Chris McNeil and Deanne Roberts (now still with Chris but with her own company, Fine and Dandy Interiors) designed our dream home. Throughout construction we were kept informed of each step and provided with choices for alternate quality materials if we were going over budget. Their sub-contractors and project managers were very competent and often, with their experience, able to make practical improvements on some of our choices. I cannot state strongly enough that this could have been a stressful experience but was made so much easier by how pleasant everyone was to deal with from Greg and Tracey, the office staff, and everyone who worked on the house. We would highly recommend Copper Island Fine Homes to anyone who is contemplating a new build or renovation.

We researched all the best builders in the area, and it was an easy choice to make as Copper Island stood above the rest. From the moment we sat down with Marcus we felt confident that we were in good hands. Building in a time of COVID and supply chain demands Marcus and his team at Copper Island were extremely helpful and guided us with the whole process. They didn’t rush us into quick decisions and let us explore different possibilities. Our questions were answered in a timely method often with useful suggestions. Their contractors are top notch, and it shows in their workmanship. In the end we ended with a home we love, and it was built on the time we requested.
