β β β β β Great trail. So many paths to take, the main ones are very family friendly if you have small kids. We love getting to see horses on the trail.

β β β β β Beautifully secluded forest, perfect for winter hiking/snowshoeing. The landscapes are fascinating with vast lands of just snow and trees.
Parking is limited (only 10 or so) , wish it was bigger and wish the access roads have proper winter maintenance. One of our cars got stuck in ice right in the parking lot.

β β β β β Excellent place for an easy hike! We were there recently, and the trails were covered in leaves so we didnβt even need our hiking boots. The best part is that there are several parking lots along the perimeter of the forest, and parking is free!

β β β β β Great forest! A lot of twists and turns and trails to keep you occupied all year long. Depending on which parking lot you choose, you are faces with new trails and challenges. Note that some of these trails actually end up merging with the Horseshoe Valley hiking/biking trails.
