★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bay is beautiful. Watch out for cactus in the area - not a good area for dogs as cactus is everywhere. The beach is loaded with cool rocks, sticks and trees. The creek is only easily crossed in late summer to early spring.
The road through Tranquille farm is ugly but passable in a car with caution when it is dry. While I appreciate they allow access, given they want to develop the area and leave a small public access area, their commitment to a good public road today should be better. It makes me want to object to the development on principle.
CN police also regularly patrol the rail line and due to poor signage you can easily get a big ticket for being on their property. So stay on path next to road by rail line, but not on the road.
