On me demandait en ligne une pièce d'identité CA ou US pour recevoir mon Visa sur mon passeport, ce que je n'avais pas. J'ai tenté d'appeler le consulat au tél et les joindre par e-mail, IMPOSSIBLE d'avoir un humain après avoir tapé sur un milliard d'options !!! Et quand j'ai posé des questions précises par e-mail, on a pas répondu ou à côté Je suis allé en personne au consulat, où un employé-vigile m'a dit qu'il n'y avait pas d'employé-guichetier à disposition pour aider dans les démarches, et que c'était que sur RDV. De plus, on m'a dit qu'à MTL, le consulat ne donne plus de RDV Visa depuis la pandémie (PLUS DE 2 ANS), et que je devais envoyer un e-mail à l'ambassade d'Ottawa pour me faire aider. J'ai appris par la suite qu'il y a actuellement 13 mois de délais à Ottawa pour avoir un RDV pour un Visa B2, et que c'est quasiment PARTOUT PAREIL AU CANADA. PAS MERCI, UNE HONTE, SURTOUT POUR UN PAYS FRONTALIER !!! BIG ANYTHING, VERY COMPLICATED AMERICAN IMMIGRATION French temporary resident in CA, I wanted to make an appointment for my B2 Visa, after completing the DS-160 (6 month vacation in the US). I was being asked online for a CA or US ID to get my Visa on my passport, which I didn't have. I tried to call the consulate on the phone and join them by e-mail, IMPOSSIBLE to have a human after having typed on a billion options!!! And when I asked specific questions by e-mail, we did not answer or not I went in person to the consulate, where an employee-vigil told me that there was no employee-counter available to help with the process, and that it was only by appointment. In addition, I was told that in MTL, the consulate has not given Visa appointments since the pandemic (MORE THAN 2 YEARS), and that I had to send an e-mail to the embassy in Ottawa to make me to help. I later learned that there are currently 13 months of delays in Ottawa to have an appointment for a B2 Visa, and that it is almost EVERYWHERE IN CANADA. NO THANK YOU, A SHAME, ESPECIALLY FOR A BORDER COUNTRY!!!
