Really nice batter. Tartar sauce was great. Service was excellent, really friendly staff working the order/pickup window. If you're in the area and have a hankerin for fish and chips then definitely give Coney Island a try. You won't be disappointed.

While there are many choices here, we find Coney Island to be well above average (and possibly the best) in the area. We usually grab two one piece meals, one halibut, one cod, and walk over to the beach to enjoy the view. The fish pieces are huge, and the chips are classic, crispy, and lovely with ketchup or malt vinegar. The coleslaw is nice (vinegar based dressing) too. The breading on the fish is crispy, and the fish itself is perfectly cooked, flakey, and tasty. This place is a treat on a sunny afternoon!
B	Bee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Whenever we want Halibut and chips we head to Coney Island Seafood. Orders take between 5-10 minutes to make. There’s bench’s to sit and eat at along the beach walkway. Crispy Batter and not fishy smelling! Always great!

Coney Island is THE place to get fish and chips in white rock. I’m telling you, my tastebuds have never been slapped harder with pure flavour. Fish is ALWAYS hot and crisp, with the batter not being too heavy, and the fries are light and fluffy like a cloud. The oil they use is high quality, as after you eat here you don’t feel bloated or heavy. Nice amount of grease on the fish (naturally). Killer tartar sauce. The family than run it are friendly and always efficient. They have excellent hours for the quality of seafood you get here. You won’t wait long and they are so proud of their food you can watch them cook it right in front of you through their open style window. They won’t hesitate to hook you up with vinegar, ketchup, or anything you need for your fish n chips. Do yourself a favour, try it out and see for yourself!
