Great example of adaptive reuse with a fun atmosphere in a historic building. Light wells, large windows and an organized floor plan make this co-working space a great choice to get worked done for an individual or a team. It's also a great place to host an event, with a very hip event space.

Perfect location and atmosphere! Enriched with Hamilton's culture, this space is perfect for creative minds to collectively work together and collaborate. I'm an intern at a company in CoMotion and I can see that is a great place to work with other people and companies that can bring skills to your business that you didn't necessarily bring yourself. The passion and motivation at CoMotion on King is amazing and makes for an ideal place for companies to work out of.

Our video production company loves this place! Beautiful brick walls, great art design. The classic start-up look. Larissa and the rest of the CoMotion team keep this place in tip-top condition. Highly recommended.

Tammy, Larissa and the gang are all great people to work with. They truly want you to succeed in business. The space is also a great place to network. I've been at their other location CoMotion 302 (formerly Platform 302) for several years now, and have networked and gotten business from there as well. CoMotion is definitely the gold standard for coworking spaces in Hamilton.

CoMotion has afforded me so many collaborative and business-building opportunities I wouldn't have found otherwise. It's not just a community of creative, passionate and enthusiastic entrepreneurs - it's an idea factory and inspiration hub. The space is so warm and inviting. Plus, I'm not always at home having one-sided conversations with my dog, which is a plus!

The space is beautiful, the location right smack downtown is incredible, and the community has really come together since CoMotion opened last fall. We have social events together, which makes for a really nice break in the work day. It's also just pure magic to be able to poke your head in another entrepreneur's office and ask their advice on something - there's just a lot of collaboration going on here, and a support system that you'd never experience if you worked in a home office. I very highly recommend coworking at CoMotion.

Great place to work and collaborate with other entrepreneurs. Excellent facilities, very modern and well decorated. However, the best part of working at Co/Motion is its location in the heart of the down-town core. Working from Co/Motion has really helped my development as a young professional. Highly recommended for any entrepreneur looking to jump start their business while making connections within the city.

It wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst. Review applies to era circa 2017. CONS: Disclaimer, note to self: "Sir this is not the Y-Combinator". The 8 months I was there (2017?) there were many iffy companies that shouldn't have been there: World Financial Group scamming poor people of their money, chakra healing with questionable credentials that was always talking about marketing their "business", a financial advisOr who is not qualified to give anybody financial advise but a glorified insurance salesperson, an accounting firm called the two guys but there was only ever one guy there; and Forge and Foster which you all know is a real estate acquisition firm that promises impossible returns, and some dude selling Aladdin lamps and placing it everywhere like a trip hazard, and a person who ran a PR firm that always yelled on the phone despite compartments thin as paper. I hope they are not there or at least disqualified to operate anymore! The concept itself was great but given that this was at the time a new space founded by 4 McMaster fresh grads, it was more like a "your mom's garage on the 3th floor", not at the calibre where you'd have to apply for a space, present your proposal, have other companies in the same space evaluate them and vote you in/out. My colleague and I took advantage of the loose requirements and rented a space to write our thesis in that space. Good times! PROs: I liked the conferences and parties they held. Everyone was nice, staff are 100% amazing, and the coffee was superb. Had some security issues and I remember some people's laptops and equipment were stolen.
