I actually had a panic attack while we were working together and she handled it with ease and helped me threw it while on a busy street. By the end of our four weeks of training my dog is much more at ease as am I. I highly recommend Darcie to anyone.

The set-up for boarding was ideal for Benny, being in April’s home, on her beautiful acreage with the company of other dogs. April was great at providing me with updates, photos and videos of Benny’s progress and it showed me how well he was being cared for and nurtured. After a little over two weeks, Benny’s separation anxiety is remarkably improved, he is crate trained, he walks loose-leash wonderfully and his over-all behaviour has improved. From the very first training session, Darcie was able to analyze the behaviour challenges I was having with my pup, and gave me tips that I could use to help my dog feel safe. Darcie has a true gift for assessing/correcting dog behaviour, and was able to help me set realistic goals and expectations for myself and my pup. Darcie was patient, kind and offered great advice that helped to change my dog into an enjoyable member of our family. I am so grateful for her help, and I highly recommend training with Darcie!

She would pull hard on her leash on walks, jump on our older dog to play, bark at and chase cyclists, and run away into the woods behind our home. She was not potty-trained no matter what we did, and very disobedient. We were at a total loss trying to train her. We were referred to Jay by word of mouth. He gained Sofia's respect and admiration instantly. When he would arrive for training at home, she would greet him and then go sit and wait to see what adventure he had in mind for her that day. Jay taught us all about how Sofia thinks and feels. He truly helped train us to understand her desires and thought process on a deeper level. Now she has no problem sitting beside my husband and myself while motorcycles zoom by. She genuinely enjoys the training activities that we do. Walks are more pleasant. She has significantly less accidents. And most importantly, we have developed our little language to share so that she knows what is expected of her, while earning her freedoms. She knows she is safe with us and has built a trusting relationship with us. It really would not have been possible without Jay, who has the most wonderful disposition towards pets and people alike. He is very enthusiastic and natural at simplifying his techniques for us. He was very very reasonably priced and we found so much value in what he has brought to our family. I would highly recommend him to anyone, even those who think their dogs don't need the help. Thanks, Jay!

I learned a lot, not just about recall training but also about some of my puppy's preferences and more effective ways to work with him. The training built each week, starting out with simple drills and increasing the distraction/difficulty as we progressed. It was effective and I would 100% recommend this course to others.
