★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After being out of school for a month due to illness I brought my daughter back to school on a mid fall day. When I returned to pick her up she was without mitts and a hat. When I asked the nearest staff member where my daughters mitts and gloves were she immediately responded with attitude “well your child will have to keep them on.” My daughter is 3 years old, she needs to be reminded to keep her mittens on and she may even need help doing so. The staff member then said “she could have left them somewhere” we later learned that she had put them down in the park and they had gotten lost. Brand new pair of mittens and hat. I thought the low teacher-to-child ratio made a difference but apparently it does not. I’m also a person of “color” in this racist town so that could have been a factor in taking care of my child - we know we will be told otherwise but hey I just thought that bit of context would matter to other BIPOC people (iykyk). I don’t trust many child care places and this was a last straw scenario for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I know it's not the best picture but here is an idea of the type of activities my 4.5 year old has been doing at Common Digs! He's learning from the beaver dams how water damming works. I am so thankful to have found an amazing place where he can learn and explore. They literally tailor the activities to what he's interested in learning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Both of my girls went to Common Digs for preschool and Nature Kindergarten. It was an amazing experience for all of us. The exploration, learning to help each other, the education, and the activity level were all phenomenal.
Now that both girls are in elementary, I hear nothing but amazing things from their teachers about how Nature Kindergarten helped to shape them as students.
Highly recommend if you can.
