Colonial was recommended to me by a local Kelowna resident. I spoke with a representative named Brenda who was professional, insightful, educated and offered me several solutions. She was also able to put together a competitive package in a very quick timeline. Great service, great people, excellent installation and quicker than was to be expected. I'm happy and my counters look great. I highly recommend Kelowna Colonial.

I was reccomend to Colonial Countertops from a friend. Unfortunately I left empty handed. The front line staff were extremely ignorant and would not even show me any options that I was looking for. She explained that what I was looking for was not reccomended.. even though I have been using for years and works great.

Great experience from start to finish! They travelled 3.5 hrs to service us at an incredibly busy time of year. I’m so happy with our new countertops!

Never in my 65 years have I been treated so rudely and disrespectfully by any business. Here is my story: I sent my measurements in, carefully following a professional installer’s guidance for measuring. I was emailed a quote for materials. I asked for a template. I was put on a cancellation list and two weeks later someone came to my house. He did not make a template. He said he was there to take measurements to give me a quote. I said I already had a quote. He said those were not his instructions. He left with his measurements. I was then told it would take two months to get a template made. I was also told that it would be faster if I had my own installer. I would have to be present when the template was made and when the counters were picked up and sign a waiver saying Colonial would not be liable if anything went wrong. I said ok. I have my own installer. Later the very same day, they said they would not do a template unless they were installing. They sent me another quote with labour and materials. It was $1,000 more for an estimated 5 hours of work ($200 per hour in labour costs?). I asked what they charged for installation, as my installer was going to charge me $35 per hour. I asked why they were giving me conflicting information: I could get my own installer. No, they had to install if they do a template. I had been told this job could be done before Christmas. I asked for a discount for all the miscommunication and delays as it would now be the middle of January before they could come to my house to make a template. (this was mid November). I received a very shocking email in reply: β€œAt this time I feel that it’s best if you look for a different countertop supplier. We, at Colonial Countertops, tend to shy away from jobs where clients are requesting discounts for work we haven’t even started.” My questions were totally disregarded and left unanswered. They are so defensive that they do not listen to their clients. I got mixed messages and it was so unclear as to what could be done. I was treated like a β€œdifficult” client with a small job and they did not need my business. I am thankful that I did not order countertops from them. My counters will be installed next week for $600 less than they quoted me. And I didn’t have to wait two months. They don’t seem to value smaller orders and unfortunately, seem to be way too busy to get the job done in a timely manner. They also don’t seem to know what they can or can not do for their clients. I have read a lot of good reviews for this company and several friends and my son have been happy with them, but this was my experience.

Colonial Countertops was recommended to us by a handy man friend. We were more than pleased to work with the service people in the showroom. What really impressed us though, was the carpenter they sent to measure the template, and then install our new countertops. This guy was fantastic! Meticulously dedicated to his craft, the installer worked incredibly long and hard to make our counters look just perfect. I would recommend Colonial Countertops to anybody - no matter what budget they are working with.

We recently renovated our main bathroom and used Colonial Countertops after deciding to go with a quartz countertop for the vanity. Their pricing was competitive and the staff were super helpful and patient during the process of deciding on the right one. I especially appreciated doing business with a knowledgeable and friendly staff in a relaxed and spacious environment. The measuring and installation was professional and prompt. Many thanks!

What a great experience with Colonial, we coun't be happier with our new quartz countertops and exceptional service from them! From our initial contact right up to the final installation and after sales service, it has been top notch. First off, we have renovated a few times and always get multiple quotes. We knew we were going to be doing quartz countertops, so not an inexpensive job. We picked three potential suppliers: A big box store, a mid range designer countertop place (with the Costco relationship) and Colonial, the high end designer store. In theory, Colonial was going to be the most expensive (or so we thought) and the Big box store the "budget" option. Well it turns out, that was inaccurate. Also, how we were treated by each potential supplier was also interesting. We have a smaller kitchen, so not a large job. Still above 5K in spend, but not a huge home designer place. The big box store sub contracts their countertops to a counter place 3 hours away. They were the most expensive and put the high pressure sales on my wife. IE" Sign in the next two days or I can't guarantee the price or the installation date.." They also wanted to do the counters in 5 pieces total, so there would be seams on the counters. The base price per sq foot was cheap, but once you did edging and corners and cut in the sink, it was way up there.. The mid level designer company rep was snobby, looked down her nose at us and made comments like: "do you love it, well how can you put a price limit on it if you love it.." They also said that the counters had to be in 5 pieces. Colonial was a completely different experience. We initially went to the show room to see a full slab of the counters to get an idea of what it would look like. (not just a small sample like the other two). right off the bat, they were nice, and informative and no pressure. When it came to the choice, we told them we were getting multiple quotes, but we were still treated with respect and Melissa helped us to figure out what we wanted while matching our backsplash choice and our cabinet colour. (before we even got them to measure and quote, so with no commitment.) Overall, an amazing experience in the showroom over several visits. Once they came out to measure for an official quote, they were bang on with the estimated price. They gave us an upgraded pattern at the same price as our first choice, and all the cuts and edging was included in the price. The price was great, but even more importantly, they did the installation in three pieces! So no seams on any of the countertops! (the other two were going to be using smaller pieces from bigger jobs to do our installation, leftovers from bigger installs.). The installers did a great job, really pro, super nice and even walked us through care and what to do with any issues. the under the counter sink mount was spot on (they did it in the price) and the final installation was incredible. All at a very reasonable price, compared to the other two quotes/companies. SO: Colonial did a great job, from the start of the design process to the choice of counter to the manufacturing of the main pieces with no seams to the installation. Melissa treated us so well, was upbeat and experienced and really made us feel welcome and taken care of even though we weren't a "big job". Once we committed, the installation was quick and efficient and done to a high degree of finish. Killer job. My wife and I have no qualms about recommending Melissa and Colonial Countertops to anyone. We are exceptionally pleased with the product, service and the results! Thanks so much! P.S. we are now planning to replace our three bathroom countertops with them!
