OK Refinishing and spraying

I am the owner of Abstract Painting in Lake Country and hired OK Refinishing and spraying for numerous painting projects. They started and finished at least 20 Interior and Exterior painting jobs for me over a 2 year period. Always excellent work and very fair. One particular job way down on Lakeshore was a complete cabinet re-paint with approximately 80 cabinet doors including the kitchen, bathrooms and cabinet built ins. It was a particularly challenging job as the chosen colour was white!! As mentioned in the other review it was very labour intensive and required a ton of prep and masking. Multiple coats of primer and white were applied to achieve a flawless spray finish. This was all done without a spray booth. I have seen his new spray booth and will definitely be using him in the future to spray all my cabinet doors. Thanks guys

Chris and Christopher were amazing. Even though this was a smaller job, the finer details were very important to me and were just as important to them. I felt the job was very well done. The 2 of them cooperated and corresponded well with one another. They were very punctual, positive, well-organized and provided clear explanations and directions. They listened well to what was requested and were receptive to my ideas. They then also offered opinions based on their experiences, I welcomed this and appreciated their input. 10 out of 10 in my books and I will certainly recommend them to others.

Chris senior and Chris junior do great work. In my home they refinished all the cabinets in our Kitchen, 3 bathrooms and 49 cabinet doors from old fashioned natural OAK to a modern Cool White colour. Even at their high price it was still a lot better than replacing all of those cabinets and doors. This kind of work takes a lot of hours in labour and a lot more coats of paint than they originally quoted. Unfortunately, they misjudged how hard it is to cover the natural tannins in Oak which extended the quoted time to complete from a week to several weeks but it was worth the wait. Thankfully, they have a shop with a spray booth to paint all those cabinet doors correctly without impacting our ability to live in our home during the renovation. I don't expect that they will underquote the amount of effort it takes to really cover Oak - next time someone asks. The net result was impressive even if it was frustrating to watch them struggle with the real challenges. We are very pleased with the results. I would recommend them to my friends.
