About Cochrane Emergency Training Services

Hi there! I’m a Registered Nurse with a background in Cardiac ICU. I work at The Children's Hospital in both the Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units. Some of my favorite things are goldendoodles, salty snacks, and bad puns! I am a true nerd at heart, but I love being able to teach our courses in a way that is enjoyable and applicable. I consider it an absolute privilege to be able to play a part in educating the community with valuable First Aid and CPR skills needed to respond to real life situations. My only hope is that you laugh at my jokes as hard as I do.

I was so releived that they can do some flexibility about it. And lastly,during the training,the trainer was very friendly,knowledgable,knows what she is talking about. She was very lively that i did not fall asleep even coming from an overnight shift. She was very interesting to listen for. I highly reccomend.

He was able to constantly change up the pace so no body found it dull or dry to understand the requirements to pass the course. It was alot of fun.

Alex was an amazing instructor, natural teacher, and left me walking away feeling confident and entertained. Highly recommend for anybody needing to refresh their skills, or get started with some basic first aid knowledge.

The two day course was unattractive to me in the beginning, but Alex who instructed us got us through quickly and efficiently, and despite finishing the days early I can still remember the whole course. It was really interactive and we spent a lot of time in scenarios which helped a lot. Overall Alex was an amazing instructor and very friendly! He knew what he was talking about!
