The Cochrane Bottle Depot is a busy full service Bottle Depot serving Cochrane’s recycling needs. Our goal is to make your visit at our depot simple, fun and rewarding. The Cochrane Bottle Depot is committed in providing fast, accurate and courteous service for the redemption of all deposit containers.
Hours of Operation
We are now open 7 Days a Week ! Monday to Sunday: 9 to 5 pm. Closed on all Statutory Holidays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff is rude, and always giving everybody dirty looks. Place is really dirty even for a bottle depot and they will short you on your bottles. Count your bottles before you go in there and you'll see. If you're going into the city for a day, just go to a bottle depot there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very clean, fast, friendly and efficient Bottle Depot, I always see the staff working so hard. Counted my bottles twice before going in and I received 100% of my refund, I do not even bother counting them anymore, because I trust them. One of the only bottles depots that I have been to that has always given me 100% of my refund. Many people do not realize that anything 1 Litre and under is 10 cents and anything over 1 Litre is 25 cents.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure why I need these judgmental looks from the staff, mainly the younger guys. Not sure what other reviewers mean by "clean", the whole place is run down. Bring in the auto bottle counter, because if I bring in more than 4 bags it takes ages with more mistakes on their counting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As clean as it can be, friendly and helpful staff get you out the door quickly. When we were there today there was a lull and no one else was dropping off. Three staff helped us at once to process our return, it was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brought back couple of bags of cans/ bottles and the owner intentionally skipped marching down a bunch of the bottles returned. When I asked him about it he said “I did I did,” but I said I’ve been looking at the receipt and there’s no bottles on your whatsoever. He printed the receipt and nothing was there. Didn’t apologize just gave me the extra cash. If you go here be careful!! Also usually quick bit this time took 40 mins, nobody seemed to care
