★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just wanted to point out that the one troll named Jacob who gave a negative review seems to be suffering from a mental disorder. Jacob the 1 star wonder single handedly went out of his way to make 84 separate 1 star reviews against various businesses and not 1 single positive review has been documented from this manic compulsive individual who is obviously out of touch with reality.
In my personal opinion, I would highly recommend this martial arts class to anyone serious about training. Every belt leave students with well deserved sense of accomplishment as they know the hard work and dedication it takes to earn it.
I have been training at Cobourg Taekwondo since 2009 and am now 54 years old and in great physical fitness because of having this outlet to go to. The other students are also courteous, friendly and eager to assist newer students who may be struggling with a lesson.
A great social outlet with awesome people to train with. Come join us and see for yourself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Both our children have been regularly participating in tae kwon do classes with Master Jonathan for over a year. The kids enjoy the friendships they make and accomplishments they achieve outside of the school environment. Even I joined the classes this past summer. It is an environment that promotes self respect and respect for others and has many advantages aside from the obvious fitness/martial arts aspect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cobourg Tae Kwon Do changed my son's life. We had to move back to South Africa and it is one of the things he misses most about Canada! Master Jonathan Field is a teacher and life coach of note. He is one of those rare people that brings out the best in others. It is a special group of people we miss every day. I hope you go from strength to strength. You are really making a huge difference in your community!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cobourg Taekwondo is an incredible place to learn martial arts. My son joined when he was 9 years old and will be grading for his 3rd degree black belt next year when he is 16. Throughout his martial arts journey the instructors and owner at Cobourg Taekwondo have been supportive and helpful. There really is an atmosphere of fun and family.
I joined as an adult in 2015 and will be eligible to grade for my black belt next June. I could not have made it this far and achieved already more than I though I was capable of without the Cobourg Taekwondo team.
An amazing martial arts learning environment!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cobourg Tae Kwon Do - Bored of the usual gym exercising ? Then give this a go. That's exactly what I did about 3 yrs ago and I am eligible to obtain my black belt next year.
If you want variety in your training with an exceptionally knowledgeable (and more than qualified) instructor then this is the place to come. No one session is the same. Its half the fun turning up not knowing how the class will go.
Fellow students are fun to work with and the senior qualified ones are always on hand to help you out with techniques.
As well as Tae Kwon Do there is always the fitness classes too if you are feeling energetic.
The classes are great for any age and level of fitness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our daughter has been an active member of Cobourg Tae Kwon Do from the age of 3 years when she joined as a little dragon. She's now aspiring (eagerly!) to become a black belt. Through her training she has gained confidence, respect, stranger awareness and an incredible sense of what she is capable of along with a huge esteem boost from the friendships she has made along the way. Thank so much Master Jonathan for running such excellent programs, camps, and courses that are targeted to every member of our family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cobourg Tae Kwon Do is hands down, the best material arts school in Cobourg. The dojang is operated by Master Jonathan Field who is a world class instructor and breaking board champion with many records.
The school has a family/community feel and a respectful, yet competitive environment. Classes are organized and active, students don't have much down time or standing around waiting. There instructors posse excellent skills in working with the kids as well as adult students, and are great role models.
I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a top-notch, well balanced, competitive martial arts program.

Master Field and his instructors always run fantastic classes which are not only a lot of fun but also a great workout. The availability of both day and evening classes and the six days per week schedule makes it much easier to fit in classes around our own busy schedules. From day one as a complete beginner with zero martial arts training I felt welcomed by both the instructors and students and highly recommend this school for anyone interested in excellent martial arts training.
