★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The trail goes: flat, down a lot, up the same amount and then you have to repeat. It seemed like a lot longer than what our guidebook said and we didn’t reach the lake, but it was nonetheless a good hike. The scenery is so-so: you can’t see the mountains from it. There’s a little creek that’s really cold and you can put your feet into. We just saw a few bugs and 1 squirrel as far as wildlife.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a nice hike down into a small Valley through old forest. After crossing a small stream you work your way back up and end at Cobb Lake. Great spot for lunch, the hike takes about 2 hours and isn't very strenuous. Trail can be a bit muddy if it has rained recently.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy hike to Cobb Lake- trail was pretty well maintained, and easy to follow. Downhill at first, to a bridge over a small river, then slightly uphill to the lake. Took about 1.5 hours.
