★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the moment I met with Angelo back in July, I felt very confident that he and the team at Coastal Energy would be able to meet our hopes with a new furnace and AC unit. In the midst of major supply chain issues due to wildfires and road destructions from flooding, Angelo and the team kept me informed about all updates for our units to arrive and they were able to meet the agreed upon date. This says a lot given the state of uncertainty and supply issues currently taking place.
When it came time for installation, the team was very professional and courteous, explaining to us what to expect and a time frame for completion. As has been the case since meeting, them, they did not disappoint and were very accurate in their explanations.
I found Coastal Energy by Google review and I cannot be happier with them and the service they provided. Without any reservations whatsoever, I fully recommend them for any heating/AC installation services you might be considering.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were lucky to get a cancellation appointment shortly after I called for a quote. As soon as we met Angelo we could see he knew his stuff. We had two other appointments scheduled with local businesses but felt we’d found our installer with Coastal Energy. We told Angelo before he left that he had our business and cancelled the other appointments. They installed a gas furnace, removed our ductless air conditioner and installed an air conditioning system in two days. The two installers were wonderful friendly guys and worked very hard on our behalf. We’re new to Nanaimo and it was so nice to find such a great company in our area that we felt we could trust to do a great job. The work was done in less than 3 weeks from our quote appointment. Very impressed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was really impressed with how thoroughly the Estimator/Sales Representative took the time to go through our home, discuss and explain options and recommend the best solution. (2 level home on slab). The installer was experienced, very professional, and friendly, planning his work to be the least disruptive to my work from home schedule. The system has performed well through a hot summer and I am sure it will do equally well this winter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited two months for a quote. Called Coastal and gave them instructions to be at my house as per the appointment that they gave me. Had my Mom waiting at my house all day as I was stuck at work...After organizing all that they called me once and never showed up. I was in a meeting at work and unable to answer my phone.
I would recommend not using Coastal Energy. There internal communication is horrendous. Why the Service Tech didn't just go to my house considering I booked the time two months ago. It was already part of his daily schedule.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jake and Ryan were on time and showed a high level of proficiency installing our new gas furnace and hauling away the old oil eater. Both of them were pleasant and answered all of our questions. The clean up at the end was great! I got some competitive bids and Coastal was in the mix. The office staff seemed quite efficient and easy to work with. What is not to like given these attributes??

Angelo took the time explaining what was required to meet the comfort level we were looking which was very important to us. This made Coastal Energy stand out from the rest and sold us. Everything was done as he said it would, the staff was courteous, on time and very efficient. I have no problem recommending this company and will definitely use them for regular maintenance service.

The work began on time and finished as stated. The installation crew were very professional while being personable and friendly. They explained every step of the way and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. They were hard working and cleaned up after themselves. I was very, very, very impressed with the crew. Each date that was given and each promise made was delivered as expected. The sales call was professional yet casual enough for me to feel comfortable. The installation crew were fantastic. Each step in the day was laid out on arrival and each member of the crew was kind, respectful and clearly knowledgable about the equipment they were installing.
We are very happy with our choice of Coastal Energy.
