Dropped off a resume for a position that I’m definitely qualified for and was treated like a peasant. I was told they were hiring but then the woman told me they weren’t hiring. She wasn’t very professional. Tried shaking her hand and got a limp shake. Not hiring me was fine, but try having a better attitude! Thanks for the job offer today, a month later. I understand your staff is leaving and you’re becoming short on staff, but you deserve it! Hopefully someone above this woman gives her a talking to. She’s obviously doing her job well, but her people skills are lacking, to say the least!
L	Lyle Denny on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At a recent visit to this liquor store, I was not pleased. Drove from south Parksville specifically to buy a 15 pack of beer that they apparently no longer sell. However, the 12 pack alternative was on sale. So I was going to buy 2 to make my 19km round trip worth it, (even though I could have bought the same 12 pack closer to home at 4 other locations for the same sale price). When I got to the till, the price came up wrong. One of the staff went to change the price in the computer system. Excellent, appreciate that part of the efforts. However, it didnt work. I wanted the 2 cases of 12. I was told that I could buy the same beer but in bottles but not on sale. So, I want cans on sale. But was suggested I buy bottles for more money. Not my problem. Charge me the amount, I could have paid cash, and have the manager adjust the stock amount at another time making the customer happy. No attempt to make things right. I frequent this store at least 4 times a week, as does my wife making dozens and dozens of purchases weekly. We will no longer attend this liquor store because of the poor service. I'll be happy to share my experience.
