About Co-op Gas Bar
South Country Co-op Limited (formerly Medicine Hat Co-op Limited), with our head office in Medicine Hat, was incorporated in 1956.
We are a member-owned Co-operative with locations throughout Southern Alberta. We employ close to 700 employees at our various locations and take pride in the fact that that we have over 62,000 members.
Co-operatives are democratic organizations controlled by their members, who elect representatives as their board of directors who in turn hire the management of their local association. Lifetime membership is a one-time cost of $5 and can be purchased at any of our staffed locations.
The continuing development of South Country Co-op is a priority for its board of directors, management and employees. South Country Co-op believes in serving the needs of their members and customers through exceptional service, quality products, variety, selection, choice and value. Traditions that started decades ago remain the cornerstone of who we are today. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thought I reviewed this already. It's a nice clean store with modern pumps. The best thing is that it has a nicer-than-usual touchless car wash; where the air dryer moves itself instead of me having to somehow guess how dry parts of the outside of my car are.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going there for 4yrs but it seems a problem with staff that holds your purchase behind the glass unit u pay on several occasions I paid before reviving my cigarette and got giving me the wrong pack told they do my exchange for correct ones stuck with something I can't smoke. This getting a bit angry to be paying the high price. And not getting what I actually. Thought i was paying for. This a an issue.
