Do not go here they are crooks!!! cancelled my membership 1 year ago in person at the gym; they never cancelled it only realized when I went through my statements to update the new expiry for prepayments on the card. Now they are saying to bad we won't do anything about the previous funds and you still have to wait 30 days to cancel your membership ( and continue to pay) . This place is a joke!! Maple Ridge has many other gyms with way better customer service!!!!

I have never been so disgusted with any business in my entire life! One day last year I was feeling okay, mind you a lot of health issues I thought would help with feeling healthier...but alas I couldn't even go one day after signing up last Feb/20. My disabilities got alot worse that I can't stand too long or use my hands at all except these few fingers! I asked them to please stop and end my subscription as I couldn't use their facility not even once. I couldn't even go for the orientation. They blatantly refused saying I had to prove I was living somewhere too far from their many gyms . I asked again 2 more separate times. To this day they take about $50 out a month of my account! I wish I could talk to Trevor Linden. I'm so disgusted!

Decent gym with decent equipment. I had an unfortunate experience canceling my membership which has ruined my opinion of the business. I had requested my membership be cancelled and the sales person told me it would be cancelled. It was never cancelled and I ended up paying for 2 months before noticing. I called their support and was given the "not our fault" response and will now pay for a few more weeks. Not uncommon in this industry to be honest so make sure you read the fine print. The sales team here is not trustworthy.

Club 16 uses deceitful practices. When two friends of mine canceled their memberships due to COVID-19, Club 16 attempted to charge them $300 each for unpaid and overdue fees. Despite them notifying the gym and not receiving any charges to their payment in the past two years. Additionally, their gym maintenance fees, signup fees, location transfer fees, and a "lock in your rate" fee brings membership far above the advertised biweekly rate that seems so appealing. Find somewhere honest to lift weights.

First time, I am writing about such a bad experience with any business .Yes!Here I’m talking about club16 situated in Maple Ridge They kept deducting money from my credit card without informing me that they are open now after COVID-19. It’s been months, now I came to know when I noticed my credit card bill. I immediately called them and what answer I received-“Sorry, Unfortunately! we didn’t inform you, but, can’t return your money since we are following our business’s terms and regulations. Is it organized behaviour towards a regular customer?

I never thought I’d be writing a review on club 16 customer service, this month alone has been a nightmare with bi weekly payments. Club 16 has sent me numerous “overdue invoices” since May 3rd saying that I haven’t paid and when I look at my bank statements It says I in fact did pay. IVE SENT SO MANY EMAILS, THEY TAKE SO LONG TO GET BACK TO YOU. OR WHEN THEY DO ITS LIKE THEY DONT UNDERSTAND ENGLISH AND ITS ABOUT A DIFFERENT THING ENTIRELY. I’m just trying to get my fee’s waived because I HAVE PROOF THAT THE MONEY WAS IN FACT TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT AND NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I REACH OUT TO THEM THEY DONT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT EVEN WHEN THEY SAID THAT THEY WILL. They claim that they’ve emailed me back with a definite answer saying that they “can’t do anything without a proper bank statement” after going back and forth but I I have emailed again a day ago sending PROPER bank statements and the next day - STILL NOTHING. Since becoming a member nothing like this has ever happened before and the moment it does, nobody is doing anything. I’m also extremely upset with how reception doesn’t know anything when I ask, and how unprofessional they email back at this location. I’m disappointed by the professionalism by Bianca and Paige. I know what it’s like to work reception and these people clearly don’t have any idea what they’re doing. It’s sad because I love the gym but the customer service here is completely unacceptable.

Terrible service. I received a text saying my account was canceled after not using for 6 months. They just started billing my card again and said my account hasn’t been canceled for the last 2 years and I have $970 worth of membership fees. They can see I haven’t used my card in 2 years. They did not notify my email saying that the card wasn’t working so they just let it build up on the account. Very very frustrating. The card had room on it for withdrawal and they just kept adding fees for NSF (non sufficient funds). Very poor customer service. I would not suggest Club 16 to anyone. Bunch of scammers

Best customer service, super nice staff. Equipment is great. Especially Paige and Bianca. They were so fast and efficient at getting my gym membership done. Very professional and kind towards me. They either have lots of experience or are trained by the best.
