We couldn't be happier with the workmanship and customer service we received. The quote we received was very reasonable and only changed slightly when we decided to upgrade some of the materials. I would absolutely recommend Cleland Contracting to friends and family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found this company on a google search to find someone to renovate my kitchen. Chris responded back right away. I had a tight budget and Chris gave me a great low quote. I am very impressed with the work he did and my tenant is very happy. I was very happy to see that the invoice match the quote he gave me. The only thing is the whole process took a while but that was due to waiting for the material. They worked fast and did great work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had gone to the reno show this year and talked to them at their booth. It took me a while to contact them but when I did, Chris responded with a very reasonable quote. He showed up when he said he would, installed doors/frames and painted them. The doors are perfectly installed and painted. He did a great job and gave me great advice about where to buy products. I will definitely hire him again to do other renovations including the bathroom and Kitchen.

From initial contact via the internet search to job completion, we felt full trust with Chris, his employees and his subcontractors.
It is important to note that our project renovations during the pandemic were challenging at times due to limited supplies of some items and the long wait for delivery of some components. Cleland Contracting handled the logistics of each challenge to our satisfaction. The covid precautions were taken as necessary and the team was aware of us, as the homeowners and with the various trades when they were in our home.
Some of the finer touches with Cleland Contracting that continually impressed us throughout the process were noted as punctuality, follow through on changes that were verbal, clear communication, clean up of the job site at the end of every day, personable and approachable time and time again and great sense of joviality and patience. The team of Cleland Contracting displayed workmanship that is admirable and cherished. The changes that we implemented in the master bath and the kitchen renew our love of our home and will for many years to come.
Our experience has been rewarding and truly appreciated, so much so that we will be doing another renovation with Cleland Contracting in the coming months.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chris' quote was fair and reasonable. He came highly recommended, and informed us from day 1 that we would be booking approx 3 months out. We took time talking out possible options to correct some water damage in our basement shower, and ultimately decided to go with updating the plumbing and tile, while leaving the bathtub. The drop ceiling was removed, as was all water damage in the shower. Everything was taken back to the studs and made sure there was no other water issues, before they rebuilt the shower with wedi panels and new tile. They also addressed venting issues, as the shower fan was located in the furnace room and was ultimately ineffective. They were quick and respectful while in the home, completing the job over a weekend. We would highly recommend, and will get them back in to do some work in our upstairs bathroom once they can fit us in to their busy schedule. Definitely worth the wait.
