★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to take the dogs or the family for a great river day. Me and my friends launch of on rafts from there and take it all the way to southland pretty much . Takes a few hours but it's so worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot to walk alone or with a dog, very peaceful along the river despite the noise of Highway 8 to the south. Found some intriguing “decorations” in the woods. Will visit again.
