CleanNow really wants their clients to be happy, and I’m a very happy client. I’m very picky and set a high bar for cleaning services and they live up to it. They’re thorough and dependable, a wonderful combination. I also appreciate the fact that Laura is very responsive to my messages via the app. They are flexible, so that we can change cleaning days when necessary, and change cleaning priorities if needed. I’ve been using them for over a year now, and have recommended to a number of friends and family who have had similar experiences. I will never use another cleaning company!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tara and Hayley were super friendly and did an outstanding job cleaning the house, plus much cheaper than I was quoted elsewhere. Love the app too. It crashed on me a couple times while I was booking a clean but haven't had an issue since. I have been using them anytime I need a clean. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After being dissatisfied with our existing cleaner, I decided to try CleanNow after doing a quick google search. I downloaded the app, got a quote and booked a clean within 5 minutes. The cleaner arrived on time, was friendly, and did a fantastic job. She even cleaned under the toilet as per my request. Pretty happy overall and will use them again.
Pros:
App was easy to use. Cleaners did a great job. Price was on par with other cleaners.
Cons:
Choosing a date and time in the app is a bit tedious. It would be better if they used a calendar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ UPDATE: I think the main issue with my experience was that I didn’t download the app and had tried to do everything via their website and email. I’ve now downloaded the app and everything makes way more sense! They have also rectified the cleaning issue that I had. Updated to 5 stars!

The booking process wasn’t great - I got an automated email thanking me for booking and saying that I would receive a confirmation email with the details of my booking - which never arrived. I had to email them a couple of days before my booked day to find out if they were coming. I did get a prompt response to my email saying there were technical difficulties with the confirmation email, and then they confirmed my booking.
Then, the cleaning itself was a bit disappointing. The checklist stated that every horizontal surface would be wiped, but several surfaces were left untouched (and were CLEARLY in need of a clean) - bar cart, dresser in the nursery, a window sill that had a big dead fly on it.. placemats on the dining table were not wiped, toilet paper holders were left very dusty...
I can’t remember everything that was missed, but anyways, it was a lot of money to spend to be left feeling disappointed.
I wanted to provide this feedback to them directly, but another frustrating part of the experience was that the feedback form link they sent me was a dead link and then they did not reply to my email about it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I decided to try this app out after reading about it on CBC news. We have regular cleaners that come every two weeks, but we love the ease of apps which make today’s tasks so much easier to arrange. From setting up the account to booking the cleaning....the app was very easy to navigate. I had a note I needed to add to the booked job, so I sent an email thru the contact us email. Angus replied both by email and text very quickly and was very excellent with communication. Amazing customer service! When it came time for the clean I was surprised they provided all their own cleaning supplies! The cleaning was done to a satisfactory level. I would rate the cleaning 4⭐️ As some items were missed but this was the first time at the house and I am sure the issues can be worked out very easily. I highly recommend CleanNow the customer service was outstanding. They even had a manager come and check it over once complete. Nice extra touch! Would recommend.

-Poor customer experience as an entire floor of the house was not cleaned even though the messaging confirmed that it would be;
-Poor experience from a technology and expectation setting standpoint;
>Booking confirmation email was received 30 minutes prior to the appointment and stated an entirely different day and time;
>A completion of work email was received 23 minutes after the appointment started, yet the cleaners were in the home for an additional 2 hours;
>No guidance provided for what condition the home needed to be in prior to the cleaners arriving (counters cleared or not, floors cleared or not, horizontal surfaces cleared or not, etc.);
>Due to the above, it took nearly an hour and a half after the cleaners arrived for me to prepare the rooms just minutes before they were able to clean them;
>Other items which I won't take the time to detail here.
-Poor response to detailed concerns and feedback.
