The environment is supportive, covid-cautious, and fun! You can do pottery on the wheel or practice hand-building. Being a member, my skills are improving and my stress is decreasing! Thanks so much for being a part in my self care and creativity journey! There is also a small shop at the front of the studio where you can buy gifts or ceramic treats for yourself. Great spot for shopping local and supporting a women-led biz.

We all ended up getting pieces that we loved. Hand building pottery is such a rewarding way to work with clay if you’re new (like we were) but it’s even more rewarding when you have an instructor who really guides you in that process but leaves you enough room for creativity and exploration. I couldn’t recommend the experience enough! The staff were lovely, the space was so equipped (and also very cute), and the community vibes were strong! Definitely looking forward to coming back!

Our instructor, Hannah, was friendly and encouraging and was run off her feet helping the 7 newbies in attendance. The 2 hour class flew by and we all got to choose one of our items which will be glazed and fired. Finished product available for pick-up in 6 weeks. This would be awesome for a mother/daughter, couples, girls night out or solo activity!

My teacher was Monica, who was so friendly and a great instructor. As I’m not particularly crafty, before I started the class I was thinking I’d be lucky to end up with one mug good enough to drink out of. In the end thanks to Monica’s expertise and teaching skills, I left with more pieces than I knew what to do with - which made my friends and family very happy. If I were staying in Vancouver, I’d be looking into a membership at the studio, as it’s a great space with really good vibes. Thanks Claymates!

I’ve also taken multiple classes in which I’ve learned so much and had a blast. The studio is organized, clean and cute. Everyone who attends is awesome and kind, and the glazes and firing process are always so smooth and turn out so good! Highly recommend!

The selection of clays, glazes, tools, etc. are great and allow you to be super creative. The members are super friendly and supportive with people at all different levels. You can always ask a question and get help on a problem. I’ve thrown at a few studios and this is one of the best in Vancouver.
