We have had our LG washing machine leaking and recieved great customer service and value from Ian at Classic Appliance. The service call for diagnosis was booked promptly based on our needs, and Ian was very quick to diagnose, and resolve. The part needed was available, and we needed a 2nd visit it remedy the problem, which was immediately booked within 24 hrs. (We had no emergency) I was very pleased with the billing, and the effort of the tradesman, as his billable time to replace the broken part only took him 22 minutes. That says alot, as there was no dawdling. Also, when I overheard him speaking to the office regarding part availability etc, he was courteous, professional, and whoever he was talking too was the same so that speaks to an operation firing on all cylinders where everyone is working together.

My dryer did not work so I called several appliance repair shops and the Classic appliance offered cheapest fee. Today Classic appliance repairman visited my house and I felt he was kind of rude. He spoke to me with rude accent to keep 6 feet from him. That's is right to stay away from him but he did not ask me but ordered me. I felt quite upset but kept calm down. He's spoken to me as an order. Finally when I pay, he came closer to me and asked me how to pay. I recommend you guys use better repair shop than rude ones.

The door mullion on my LG fridge broke. I looked online and saw lots of parts but was unsure if they would fit. I called Classic, told them my model #, and they ordered the correct part directly from LG and it came the next day. I am sure I could have spent a few hours online and found one slightly cheaper. But knowing the correct one was ordered was worth every penny. The new part worked even better than the old one did when it was new. Great service, thank you. Remember to shop local.

For three months we had been working with an appliance repair shop (used by the extended warranty provider) to get the dryer of our laundry combo fixed only to be told after all that time that it could not be repaired. We would get a credit and would have to buy a new unit. How can it be that a 3 year old dryer still being sold in stores not be repairable. We contacted Classic Appliances and were introduced to Ian, their service technician. He was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He explained, resolved the problem and within 3 days had us up and running. We no longer had to go to the laudromat! We had great service and intend to continue using Classic Appliances for all our future appliance repairs and highly recommend them. L. Irwin

February 3, 2022. I wanted to wait until I received clarification that classic appliance on Barron Road in Nanaimo BC was going to replace our Samsung water filter for our Samsung fridge. We purchased a Samsung water filter replacement from classic appliance approximately January 7, 2022 when we went to replace the filter in the fridge, it had a hissing sound immediately we figured that it was filling up with water as we had never heard this previously in any of the filters we had previously replaced, we left the room and five Minutes later returning the floor was full of water, immediately mopped up the floor with towels and phoned appliance place in panic, apparently we phoned the wrong appliance place, we phoned barons appliance instead of classic appliance. In any event we were told to return it and we would be given a new one as it was probably faulty. The next day we returned it to classic appliance, and we were told very rudely that it was not them as they leave the office at 4:30, and that there was no return on water filters. Now this water filter was $70 with taxes, which is not right, they said we would have to purchase a new one and weโ€™re not willing to replace it without contacting a supplier. Later in January we had an error message on our brand new LG wash tower, and classic appliance phoned to do the warranty repair call, at which time my husband asked about the water filter for our fridge and they said oh yeah he would bring it at that time. The repair man replace the water filter with no problem, he agreed that there was a problem probably with the filter we had purchased, and he related it to a battery issue where people buy two batteries , return them to the store say they donโ€™t work, and they are the old batteries that they return wanting new batteries in replacement. I was a palled, I have never been treated so rudely regarding a replacement. Barons appliance was willing to replace it at no problem no questions asked as it was probably faulty. Why were we made to feel like such criminals asking for a replacement at classic appliance. I will await a phone call for an apology. They do have my phone number on record. From now on my business will be sent to baron appliance where I have received excellent service. I personally have worked in the industry of customer service for 38 years and I would have been fired from my job how Iโ€™ve been treated and responded to as I was by classic appliance. The repair man was incredibly rude when he came to repair my dishwasher. He made me feel unwelcome in my own home, when asked what was wrong with the dishwasher he replied โ€œwhoโ€™s payingโ€. I understand servicing appliances is a difficult job and given there is a pandemic, however kindness does go a long way especially when you are entering someone elseโ€™s home. Will not recommend this to anyone

After 10 years our $1000 LG Dishwasher's control board died and believe it or not LG still stocks replacement control boards. Classic was able to send a repair technician to replace it. "Ian" arrive he was friendly and professional, did the job. I would ask specifically for him to service our appliances again, should I require repair.
