CityView Smiles Dental - Dr. Genna Gelfand, DDS

I was told by my regular dentist that I needed implants the cost minimum $12500.00 I decided to check around and even outside Canada when I found Dr. Gelfand, he was really open to my questions and gave me really good answers including no need for bone grafts while every other dentist told me I needed. His work was really profesional very little pain and fast. Three visits and about 6 months later the work was completed and I am enjoying my new front teeth. His price is little over what Mexico quote. I would highly recommend Dr Gelfand to my friends.

I had bad experiences with previous dentists. Many charge for extra things, push for further treatments and promotions, pressure to get things done quickly. I changed clinics 3 times. Most clinics send the cost directly to the insurance, so they can change whatever they want and you would never know. But when you don't have insurance, they have to hand you the receipt and treatment. That's when I realized i was getting charged for more. When I found this clinic, I prayed a lot for them and for myself so that we are a good fit for each other. I visited this doctor 3-4 times and am now taking the time to leave a good review. I have never felt pressured, Dr Gelfand took the time to explains things and answer all questions until I felt satisfied. I never felt pressure that he was getting delayed by my questions and wanted to get things moving so that he could get on to his next patient. Even his staff did not talk me into getting further unnecessary upgrade treatments. This was a big plus for me. For once I was not treated as an opportunity to make more money. I felt like I was only given the treatment that I truly needed. So yesterday I got my wisdom tooth removed. Called in to schedule an emergency appointment. They booked me in the same day. Dr Gelfand took the time to explain all possibilities and complications that might arise during and after the treatment. In the end it took him much less time than what I had expected to do the work which was a great surprise. This showed how much he cares about informing his patients well, open communication and he knows where his expertises lie and that he can get the job done. You all are in my prayers. Dr. Gelfand's office and services are welcoming, professional and there is always warm atmosphere every time I visit. All my dental work, however difficult it may have been at times, has been done with ease and no worries to me. I would recommend Dr. Gelfand and his team to everyone, they are my best find! :-)

As a person thats not fond dental visits, Dr Gelfand has a great bedside manner and a calming demeanor. He is incredibly knowledgeable & patient and ensures you're comfortable at all times. His staff is excellent. Melissa is thorough and works with you find the best solution and is extremely organized. I was very impressed with the level of care and service this dental office provides.

After shopping around for all-on-4 implants for over two years without success, I went to CityView Smiles Dental - Dr. Genna Gelfand, DDS. and I was finally successful. I felt very comfortable from the consultation to my procedure. Alongside their professionalism, and receptiveness, their prices are unbeatable (within my searches). Cleark Melissa gave me a very warm reception, Dr Genna was very compassionate to my complicated situation and his assistant Cristiana was very nice. I would recommend CityView Smiles to anyone with dental issues. They're an excellent choice. I left with a better "smile"??.

We had been going to this dentist for years. The receptionist is lovely. Always smiling, always very welcoming. The several dental hygienists we had were also very good and gentle when cleaning my and my daughter’s teeth. The issues arose during the covid lockdown. They were asking $20 per person out of pocket to pay for PPE. Lol. So we switched dentists. Once at our new dentist, my older daughter (16 years old) had a small (peg tooth) extracted before she had her braces put on. Dr. Gelfand recommended she do this. As a result, my daughter needs to wear a retainer with a fake tooth and a tooth is to be drilled into her gums when sh turns 18. The kicker here, is that the new dentist we are attending now, was baffled. Because she would have recommended that the tooth be (peg tooth) be FILLED instead of extracted. So our options weren’t even presented to us. Needless to say, my 16 year old was furious. As was I. Get a second opinion before following through with what is recommended by this dentist. His recommendation here was fueled by $$more $$business. We learned the hard way unfortunately. But hopefully this helps others when making decisions like these.

I had sinus lift and dental implant procedure done by Dr. Gelfand. He is really good at what he does, the whole procedure was smooth and i had little to no discomfort afterwards. Dr. Gelfand really cares about his patients. I was also able to get in touch with him on his day off for a question I had which I'm pretty sure another dentist wouldn't have entertained. The dental implant prices at this clinic are the most reasonable in GTA. The receptionist, Melissa is very friendly and helpful. Overall I had a great experience at Cityview Smiles Dental.
