Built in the early 1950's with luxury in mind the three buildings witch City Park is comprised of were the first high rise apartment buildings constructed in Toronto. despite their age these buildings have been maintained to the highest of standards and because of the level of workmanship that went into their construction these buildings remain one of the best choices for rentals in this city. Each buildings is identical to each other, standing at 14 stories tall they share 2 moderately sized underground parking garages and between each building is a well manicured lawn and adjoining flower beds which encompass each building front to back. The buildings have 24 hour on site security and a full staff of maintenance personal as well as cleaners who ensure each building is in top form. Although the elevators are small and there is no easy way to move in and out of the buildings, each building has 3 passenger cars which have been recently compleatly re-built and 1 service car which when not being used is the designated laundry elevator. each building also has 3 laundry rooms with state of the art equipment. The hallways are wide with high ceilings and bright lighting, and each apartment is very large with massive windows and large balconies. Some draw backs to the age of these buildings is the lack of electrical outlets in each apartment, and the inability to have a dishwasher due to plumping limitations. Also feel secure in the fact that 2 large deisal generators provide back up power for common areas during a power loss situation.

The community spirit and gardens. The fact that it is a co-op makes it different from most housing in a city. The decorations of individual balconies make summer and Pride so much more fun. It is one of 3 buildings with huge greenspaces in between each building.
