Great way to get into the Christmas spirit!
Can be icy and crampons would be a good thing for anyone worried about slipping.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really nice place for cross country skiing, not the best place if you're new to the sport. But if you're above beginner level it's a great place within city limits

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The kids love this place! The hill is not too steep. The lights and music make for a great winter wonderland experience. I’m so glad they opened this area up these past few years. As a kid I was only able to enjoy it from 14th street. The Lions club does a fantastic job! Keep it up! Calgary needs more of this.
