Stayed at Chute lake in cabin 2 for a few nights. Overall it was a decent experience with friendly staff for the most part, decent cabins and a good atmosphere. The lake was nice to canoe and if the E-bikes were available the KVT would have been a great way to explore the area. A few cons They had construction going at 7:30am. Excessively loud and really killed the whole nature mood. We were never told during bookings about this and would have cancelled or went somewhere else. Lack of layout planning, no trail maps for hiking in the area. The restaurant the first night was fantastic even though its pricing was fairly high. My wife and I enjoyed our dinner and had a few drinks. The second nights dinner was very disappointing. Server asked us too eat early so she could leave. We got a poutine and nachos, and two drinks that equaled a staggering 90 dollars. To be honest I wouldn't complain if the food was like the first night but it was horrible. The nachos were so burnt they were inedible with a meager portion, gravy on the poutine was chunky and cold. Visibly you could tell there were issues with the food but still were served to us. I never had the chance to complain as they server never returned to ask how it was. I assume it wasn't the same cook both nights. Also, the service staff were run off their feet and overwhelmed with booking for the lodge as well that really faultered the restaurant and the service. Bobby did a great job and was very friendly and accommodating.

Chute Lake Lodge was a great stop on our KVR trip. We got there early for lunch while Bobby got our glamping tent all sorted for us, making check-in a breeze. The food is excellent (burger, stew and a breaky burrito) and both ladies that served us were friendly and attentive. This place has got a great feel to it and I highly recommend a visit.

I had high hopes for the Chute Lake Lodge, but unfortunately I was very disappointed as I left without any food or drink. Chute Lake was the half-way point goal of my Kettle Valley bike adventure. 30 km through mud and snow, we arrive at the Lodge and are told they aren't open yet (We were there April 29, they open May 1). We had checked the website before going, and we didn't see any sort of warning. We even got excited by a sign a few km back that says "Thirsty? We're Open". Bummer to travel as far as we did to get turned away.

Is a nice place to go and visit, restaurant depends what you order the food is fairly decent. The hospitality was crapy though. Never once we were asked if our meals were good, do we need anything else. Every time we needed something we had to get the servers attention. You would think for being so remote and only 2 tables in the place ther server woulda been more personable and on top of things. But instead she and some other guy were busy in there tablets at the front desk.

My trip started with the chef, Mary picking me up from the KVR parking lot as the road was slippery and my car snow tires didn't like the hills. The Alpen Glow cocktail featuring local Gin was delicious. A selection of local craft beer was fabulous to see. It was my first time and I loved the ambiance of the old lodge and the property. The newly renovated bathrooms were glorious. As the temperature was chilly, the staff offered guests space heaters. The staff were quick to help guests with problems even when they weren't lodge related. Christmas dinner made by chef Mary and helper Tony was just like home. The snowshoeing is fantastic and I even got to take the manager's puppy with me. Can't wait to go back...

From start to finish Chute Lake Lodge was incredible. The property is stunning, well kept and clean. All the cabins I saw and yurts were awesome and I would’ve been happy in any of them. Being in nature with the sauna and lake dips was incredible and then to have a cozy cabin style restaurant at our fingertips was the best of both worlds! Drinks food and service were excellent. Staff were super friendly, accommodating and accessible at all times. We will be back soon for sure! I can only imagine this place in the summer although firepits with a snowfall is pretty hard to beat.! See you soon :)

We had the best weekend at Chute Lake. 3 nights in one of the lovely glamping tents. The food in the restaurant was really good. Its such a beautiful spot to spend some time. Shout out to the amazing team there, Bobby and Levi. They made our trip even better.
