I flew in straight from the UK and Yos and Pat provided me with all the kit i needed with no fuss - even giving me fleece under trousers to make sure i wasn't cold. We had a great day, they are really good, relaxed company; I've had many fishing guides and these guys clearly know what they are doing - and they do it well. The proof - we caught fish! Highly recommended.

Yos was an amazing teacher and had us catching fish within a half hour. After our first day on the river we are already planning our next trip. Thanks again Yos!

Would still leave a 5-star review if we didn't catch fish, but we lit it up all day and caught lots of coho and a bull. Yos is a great guy and teacher. He put us on fish within 5 minutes and kept us on fish all day. One of the two of us didn't go more than 10 casts in a row without a hookup, all day. Absolutely phenomenal time and would recommend it to anyone. Will definitely be back in the future.
E	Elias Møller on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A one day guided fly fishing trip with Chrome Sport Fishing was worth every single penny even for an experienced fly fisher like myself! Despite super tough conditions in a wintery April with very low water levels, Yos’ guiding competencies really came into play. He knew exactly which part of the Squamish river system would hold hungry fish and which fly would fall into their taste by frequently rotating different fly sizes and patterns. His knowledge certainly payed off and resulted in text book beautiful 6+ lbs Steelhead and plentiful Bull Trout! Fly Fishing in Whistler is just as stunning and remarkable an experience as the ski resort itself. With full gear rental and transport from my doorstep it doesn’t get any better. The smile says it all! It won’t be my last trip with Chrome Sport Fishing

Lots of great fishing action, saw a black bear, he pointed out wolf prints, talked about bird calls and shed hunting...you know you're with the right company when it feels like your sharing the fishing experience with good buddies. I'd highly recommend these guys for guided steelhead and bull trout action on the Squamish River.
D	Dan Hawker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have done three trips with Chromer. All of them have been amazing and I can’t recommend Chromer enough. Pre-trip service: Great communication, prompt and clear. Level of Guiding: Top quality. I have fished with both Dylan and Tom. Both have in-depth knowledge of the river systems and managed to get us into fish on all of our trips (including an April Steelhead trip). The Area: The areas I have fished have only been a short drive from Vancouver but the scenery is spectacular and you feel a world away from busy city life. Drifting the river also allows to opportunity to catch a glimpse of the area’s wildlife. The Fishing: It’s fishing not catching, but with a bit of luck and lots of casting you might strike silver. One thing is for sure, the guides will give you the best chances for the conditions you get.

We got his name through another guide service located in far away in Campbell, who spoke very highly of the Chromer Sport Fishing Guides. That is a recommendation in itself. We were in Squamish at the tail end of the season but Pat managed to get us into a beautiful snow-belly steelhead. In addition, very nice company and very knowledgeable. We are from Denmark and are definitely coming back for Cohos. Contact Yos and you will be in the best of hands (even though he has Danish roots)
