The good part it's that it gradually gets deeper so kids can play safely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good beach! Lots of room, no garbage, lots of people but spaced out. Good parking, very peaceful. Could use sand but still nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owners of the campground are very nice and accommodating. I have a large a class A and the campground is very tight. The sites are very close together. The sites appear to not very level. With the extreme heat there were many power losses and surges. Much of that from the power company but the power boxes at the sites are older and rusted. They need to be upgraded. Being in the pine trees is very nice and the campground is fairly clean but needs a little TLC. Overall a nice place for small units but not larger RVs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During May, the lake is not as warm as in July. Hence the park was nearly empty but still had a relaxing time on the beach. I'm sure if I showed up in July it'll be 5/5 stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to the Provincial Park on the south end of the lake and had a very nice and peaceful afternoon on the beach. There are plenty of Tables and one can bring the food with them and enjoy the beach. It was a perfect day sunny no wind and actually not to many people. Water was still ok and not to cold.
Relaxing time
I kayak on here each summer and its just a great warm lake, with lots to see. There are a few parks, city and provincial, so lots of places to stay and visit
