Chop Steakhouse & Bar is coming to Coal Harbour in Fall 2022! With locations coast to coast across Canada, including one in Richmond, BC, we are expanding to downtown Vancouver! Located on the west side of the Vancouver Convention Centre, within walking distance from Waterfront station, our newest location offers spectacular views of the Vancouver harbour, North Shore Mountains and Canada Place.
Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. All of this quality comes with friendly hospitality in warm and energetic rooms.

Ordered the Furious fries and the oven roasted chicken and they were both to die for, so much so I started watching before taking a picture haha I also had their cherry blossom mojito and several of their pink lemonade cocktails and both were absolutely to die for!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was in Saskatoon for a concert today, was recommended Chop by a friend and WOW! 5 star experience. Food and drink was great, the mains were on the pricier side-not an issue and not unusual for a place like this, but dessert, drinks, and appetizers were all priced very well. Our server Teneal was very friendly, and I liked the way she handles tables-I’m not a fan of when severs are over the top friendly but she was perfect. To the point and very friendly. Will be back! Great atmosphere too, felt bouje without being too fancy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would consider this place a special restaurant for special occasions. I could find no faults in the decor, atmosphere, service, or food quality/ presentation. I ordered sirloin steak with a loaded baked potato. This came with roasted beet, and steamed baby bok choy. Steak was ordered medium rare and in my opinion was done perfectly. Very good quality beef. Just the right amount of seasoning. Others at my table ordered fillet minion, prime rib, and a wild mushroom and goat cheese dip with crostini. This was paired with a bottle of Baron Montalto Cabernet Sauvignon. Pineapple upside-down cake with gelato for dessert. Server was attentive but not distractive. Price -$$$$$

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lobster chowder was incredible. My meal was comped because my sirloin was undercooked and I didn't have time to send it back. The peppers were the best I've ever had but the mashed potatoes were as dry as cocoa, but there was a mountain of them. $100+ for two is a little much and I would recommend The Keg for a better meal at the same price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food, great atmosphere, and even better service. The steak was cooked perfectly, the mash potatoes and sides were incredible. Dessert was alright, not too special. However I still recommend the restaurant to anyone staying at the sandman Signature hotel.

Food is prepared well and generally plated well. Service is attentive but not overwhelming.
Some tables have no direct lighting so it can be hard to read the menu. We saw at least two couples request a different table because of this.
Their online menu lists prices so you can check before you go.
