About Chop Steakhouse & Bar

Chop Steakhouse & Bar is coming to Coal Harbour in Fall 2022! With locations coast to coast across Canada, including one in Richmond, BC, we are expanding to downtown Vancouver! Located on the west side of the Vancouver Convention Centre, within walking distance from Waterfront station, our newest location offers spectacular views of the Vancouver harbour, North Shore Mountains and Canada Place.

Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. All of this quality comes with friendly hospitality in warm and energetic rooms.

Then Nicole took care of us, for the rest of our lunch. The steak bites and chicken sandwich were out of this world delicious! Came super fast and very hot! Excellent environment, delicious food, superb service. Will definitely be back.

The steak I ordered was missing the seafood portion so they took it back and then realized they brought out the wrong orders initially. They were very apologetic and offered free desserts which I thought was nice. When our correct orders came, it was delicious!! The steaks were done perfectly and it was a good value for your dollar. Better than my recent experiences at the Keg! Will go again :)

Nicole was very knowledgeable and always made sure we did not need anything she took the time to come to are table NUMEROUS times my husband had the steak and lobster he was surprised to get 2 lobster tails which he enjoyed and did mind the cost nice switch from the Keg

When it was finished, it was brought out by the chef again and the presentation I thought was impeccable. The aroma itself was making me salivate. When I was finally able to taste the burger it had such a sweet subtle sweetness of pumpkin. There was just the right amount of meat and the textures were just right as you're eating. Hard to explain, but it's the best burger I've had and lived up to my expectations for burger week 2021. After having this burger, I can fully appreciate why it demands this price point. Great job Chops!

The fettuccini Alfredo was so greasy. The garlic toast that comes with the food is not edible bc it tastes like butter. The shrimp appetizer with garlic was greasy and tasted like raw uncooked garlic. The fries were from frozen and their chicken fingers was greasy. Lathe Cesar salad had terrible bacon and prepackaged dressing. The service is great but it’s empty inside and kind of depressing.

Long story short, my wife and I are very picky about how our prime rib is done. Not only was the prime rib done to perfection and taste but the rest of the meal also followed suit. Our server for our first visit was Vasyl and I must say it was nothing but professionalism knowledge and very friendly interactions with him. We have not one single complaint from the moment we walked in the door to the time we left. Interactions with the other staff members were equally good we will definitely come back here again. I wish I could give it more than five stars. Great job to the entire team keep doing exactly what you're doing.
