Our go-to Chinese restaurant in Surrey and if you’re craving dim sum too which they serve only at lunch. You may just need to wait for your order but overall it’s a great family restaurant. Not too pricey too.

Came here with my family for lunch. This was the second visit to this restaurant. Ordered the Peking duck, salt and pepper squid, general tso chicken and some dim sum dishes. All the dishes tasted very good. The kids are usually very picky but loved the restaurant

Excellent service, freshest quality, and superb interior design of all the Ching Qing locations. The tea was some of the best I've ever had. Dim Sum #6 fresh and steamed perfectly!! Quality worth the price. ?

Dined here a few times. 4 stars is for hit or miss service. Service is especially bad for big groups. Waitress ignored us multiple times when trying to get attention. Very slow service. Everything we ordered tasted good. Price is reasonable and portion sizes were decent.

I’ve eaten inside this restaurant many times over the years. I’ve always had excellent service and correct orders. Lately I’ve been getting takeout dim sum for my dad who has been finding my healthy meal cooking unpalatable. My dad says the dim sum here tastes great, looks appealing and is properly prepared. Even though prices of food have gone up during the pandemic I feel there’s good value still at Chongqing compared to the dim sum places in Vancouver and Richmond. (My relatives have been eating at these places and have relayed their experiences to me). Today I ordered #12 steamed chicken feet and house sauce, # 21 deep fried eggplant with shrimp paste in black bean sauce, #24 deep fried taro dumpling, and #35 steamed rice flour roll with egg and minced pork (never saw this offered before anywhere else). I just read Sherman Food Adventures food reviews of the last couple of dim sum places where he's had "phoenix talons." The last two times he ordered it, he noted they were overcooked/overhandled as evidenced by the skin falling off the bone near the joint. I've ordered this twice here and they were each perfectly cooked on both orders.

Quality has gone down. Food tasted stale and hard today. Staff doesn’t care if you voice a concern. Prices have gone up and quality down. Have been Dining here since they opened up in Burnaby, Robson, Commercial and surrey for years. Last 4 visits this year have been very disappointing. I hope they return to the great quality and customer service they once had.

I ordered vegetarian hot and sour soup but the soup base is thick and dark. Not taste good. Order duck lettuce wrap, taste good. Overall the food taste okay. Little bit pricey!
