★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing gelato and sorbets, so many different flavours to pick from. Great price for giant scoops!! They even do half scoops so you can try two flavours, I really appreciated that as somebody who is indecisive. Would recommend their mystery ‘Hammerhead’ flavour; was surprising light and delicate!

Chocolate Tofino is a cute little shop with wonderful tasty delights. We tried the salted caramel Sundae and had some Chocolates. The ice cream was delicious. I was worried the Chocolates might be mediocre and a tourist trap. But the Chocolates were high quality, well made, with great flavours.
The passion fruit flavour was delicious, wish I bought more.

My son had the hammerhead, the mystery flavor… and it was so good, and none of us could put our finger on the flavor :) we brought home a mixed box of the chocolates and they have to most wonderful snappy chocolate shells. The passion fruit heart was fantastic! You should try one! The lavender was also really lovely and not overwhelming. Wish we could visit more often!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you come to Tofino and didn't have ice cream here, then you are missing a big time .
1. Strawberry-mango sorbet is so underrated..why!!! This flavor is amazing!
2. Vegan salted caramel is delicious too.
3. Masala chai truffle is a must .
Don't miss these above three flavors. Thank me later ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Did not expect a long lineup on a rainy day but it was worth it. Generous scoops. We order 3 double scoops in a waffle cup and we didn't have room to eat our dinner takeout. My favorite is Lavender honey which is more honey dominant but in a good way. My other half loved the Maple Pecan Praline, which says a lot as he loves chocolate. Hammerhead is light and minty but not my favorite. Sundaes comes with the dark chocolate surfboard. Going back for the Mojito sorbet next time.
Tip- Plenty of seating by the back fence. I spot 5 tables, great when it's sunny as there's no awning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I imagine a quintessential chocolate boutique, Chocolate Tofino checks all the boxes. They have a carefully curated selection of chocolates ranging from barks to truffles to shaped figures, all are wonderfully flavored and expertly crafted. We even got to meet one of the chocolate makers who gave us her opinion of which chocolates to buy! I was impressed with their small batches of seasonal offerings and super happy to see they have a drinking chocolate: Elixir. The Elixir is smooth and decadant, so the 4 ounce serving was plenty to share between two people. I am so excited to try all the amazing chocolates and truffles we bought!
Don't forget that they also serve high quality gelato in a range of delicious flavors. There were so many to choose from! I ultimately picked the Salted Caramel Sundae and am so glad I did. Smooth caramel salted with Vancouver Island sea salt flecked with chocolate flakes, served in a waffle cup and a chocolate surf board stuck in. So cute and so tasty! I recommend having the waffle cup dipped in chocolate. The surf board has a wonderful snap and is great for scooping out the last bits of gelato.
All in all, this is a wonderful Tofino experience that should not be missed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute place with lots of locally made chocolate using lots of local ingredients from the island since the pandemic, they have changed the layout of the store but still have lots of chocolate and gelato options. I got a bunch of different bark chocolate as well as the Hazelnut rainforest crispy log, which I ate right away and it was delicious ?
Gravel parking lots makes it easy to access. Lots of parking. Entrance is on the back side of the building (furthest from the road) through the blue door. Right now it's max 2 groups inside at the same time. There wasn't anyone else there when we visited. There's a bunch of dark (62% and 70%), milk and white chocolate options. There's also vegan chocolate and gelato options

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chocolate Tofino has an awesome array of made in house gourmet chocolates and truffles AND ice cream. I tried some chocolates which were delicious, but I also had a scoop of ice cream. Even if you want one scoop, the staff are so kind as to give you two flavours. The mint chocolate flake was so fresh with the perfect crunch for those who like mint ice cream. I also loved the dutch chocolate. I highly recommend the chocolate flavours given that the store specializes in chocolate.
