★ ★ ★ ★ ★ please, please, seek out an educated, certified and qualified trainer instead. this guy will give you a whole spiel about how “e-collars don’t hurt” and “dogs need leadership” but the reality is that he will use pain (yes a “stim” is painful) and fear to suppress your dogs behaviors, creating chronic stress that will lead to more and more severe behavioral issues in the future. if orca whales can be trained without force or pain, so can your dog.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend Dylan with Chinook K9. I took my 6month old Cane Corso, Moose to him for a week of Board & Train. I am so happy with his training, knowledge and how he educated me in a lot of things on pickup. He takes him time on pickup to go over things, as well as sent me home with a Routine. Chinook K9 Will be my first choice to go back if needed in the future. Thank you for everything!

We were given many tips, aids and support to continue our training at home. I highly recommend Chinook K9 for all of your dog training needs and we are looking forward to our future work with Dylan!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dylan is the dog master! After just two sessions I am seeing the most remarkable progress in my Jack Russell who struggles with anxiety, leash reactivity, and containing his excitement. My daily walks have changed so much in a matter of weeks and I owe it all to Chinook K9! Would highly recommend to anyone and if I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Can't wait for the next session!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dylan did an amazing job working with our rescue Australian Cattle Dog - he is incredibly knowledgeable and showed us how to alleviate our dog’s stress levels by providing a predictable routine for her to follow. Dylan’s approach to training is balanced and takes into account the specificities of each dog’s struggles. I have recommended him to everyone I meet who struggles with their dog’s behaviours. We did 5 sessions of private training and then a 3 week board and train program. I wish I would’ve discovered Dylan sooner instead of wasting my money on other trainers. He is a gem!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Words really can’t describe how amazing Chinook K9 and Dylan are. I was at the point where my life was completely modified to avoid reactions from my very anxious dog. After going to 3 different training companies for numerous types of classes each, a behavioural vet and a training company that specializes in reactive dogs, Pip still wasn’t making improvements. Chinook K9 was my last shot before making the decision if I could really handle Pippin and the stress he caused me.
Pippin did a 4 week board and train and I got a completely different dog at the end of it. Dylan posted videos all the time of his progress and it was almost overwhelming to see my dog finding so much success. I’ve had Pippin home for 2 weeks now, and my life (and his) has changed. I’ve opened up the blinds in my house, I don’t avoid busy times of the day for walks and I know how to handle situations when they come up. I also know that if I’m having a problem, I can contact Dylan and he can give me pointers. This happened a week into Pippin being home. He was pushing some boundaries, so Dylan came to my house and helped me work through it.
Best of all, during Pippins stay with Chinook K9, I knew he was loved and being well taken care of.
I 100% recommend Chinook K9 to anyone for their training needs

Rambo is a changed dog in the most incredible way. He has been super obedient and great on his walks which has struggled with the most and he has more structure as well now. I can’t thank them enough for providing private sessions and as well as board and train! They’re super understanding and respond well to any questions! 10/10 recommend?
