The food was cold & about half the food on the buffet was missing. We have had good experiences at this restaurant but they were so busy filling takeout orders they forgot about the buffet & it wasn’t cheap at almost $25 per person. We will not ever go back there after that terrible experience.
A	A. W. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Take out is great. Always quick and an easy pick up. Only downside is the buffet. Find if you aren’t there when it starts they isn’t replenish much through out so you may not get some popular dishes.

It’s your average Chinese buffet: ginger beef, deep fried chicken wings, sweet & sour pork, etc. Most of the foods looked oily and the some of the foods were slightly too salty when I ate it. They had a couple dim sum items but it didn’t look appetizing. I was lucky to find that they had steamed white fish as well as shrimp & snow peas so I loaded up on those. Tried the black bean mussels but the sauce was all dried up—took a bite but it didn’t taste good. I had hoped for more Chinese-styles foods but it is as expected for a small town. At least the sliced oranges were deliciously sweet. I’d probably eat here again if I’m in a pinch and need food. The staff were friendly and attentive as they regularly checked to see how I was doing so that was a plus.

They only have buffets on Friday and Saturday night , I believe. So I ordered off the menu: shrimp and tomato with crispy rice, Shanghai curried noodles,and salt and pepper wings. I was not disappointed. The crispy rice had that sweet/ sour flavour I love. The noodles were nice and dry and flavourful. And the wings were hot and juicy with a suitably spicy topping of chili flakes with julienned onions and red peppers. I bet the salt and pepper squid is super,too. I'll have to try them next time I am in Cochrane. I grabbed a take out menu for those times when I'm just passing through in a hurry but I will go back. The service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant was not full, as folks are still being cautious because of Covid, I felt perfectly safe with the distancing and cleanliness.( first time I've sat in a restaurant in a good 18 months).
