Who are we?
China Palace Restaurant is a family owned and operated fully licensed Chinese restaurant opened since November, 2009. For the past 10 years, our family run restaurant has been dedicated in providing excellent Cantonese style offering delicious in-house dining, takeout and delivery within the Calgary area. Recognized for its outstanding Cantonese-styled Chinese cuisine, and friendly staff. Known for its modern interpretation of classic dishes and its insistence of only high quality fresh ingredients.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the $10 lunch special on skip, gave me food poisoning. I’ve been on the toilet for 2 days. Worst chicken fried rice I’ve ever had also- boiled rice, frozen veggies and the most unappetizing chunks of rubbery chicken. Rice was nowhere near crispy or “fried”, was all soggy but I guess I can’t expect much for $10. Fried wontons had no filling, just cold and stale fried wonton wrappers. Would not recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered on Skip. very little beef in the beef with veg dish and very little flavour. Also beef was slightly chewy. no soya sauce or plum sauce included. no fortune cookies were included. Chicken balls were crushed. onion seems to be the predominant veg in EVERY dish. sauces spilled over from almost every dish. spring rolls were soggy. Honey garlic ribs were super fatty - so fatty that the majority of them were inedible. Fried rice was decent and other than the amount of onion, the chop suey was fine. Hot & sour soup was fine as well.
Very disappointing. Will not order from this place again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very decent Chinese restaurant. Family-run business. They have about 10-12 tables. The menu is not bad. They do have set menu for certain amount of people. For the price of dishes you get good value. Their portion are above-average compared to other Chinese restaurant. About 1.5 more food for similar pricing. E.g. we order the Peking Duck with 2 dishes. The extra dish cost only $5. The fired rice dishes came out it look like a aircraft carrier very huge. The seasoning is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prices are awesome, largest portions I've seen served dining in. Verified by old Chinese grandmas and grandpas dining in for lunch. Great value.
Tip: don't get takeout bc they'll give you smaller portions. Dine in + takeout what you can't finish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family ordered Chinese food for Thanksgiving this year and we are so glad we did!! Once you mix everything up in their containers and get the sauce all over it , it's delicious. Our favorite was definitely the noodles and the beef, both just had great flavor, and everything was even better the next day. I would recommend others to try this place for sure, its very reasonably priced as well :)
