★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered for my wife's birthday on Dec.09,2021. The food was overdone and batter was crunchy and hard. The noodles were also overcooked. This was very disappointing. All previous times were good.

The lady that works the front and takes orders is BEYOND rude! I’ve been ordering here for years only because I love the coconut chicken and no other places offer it in the city. Every time we call this lady is beyond rude, she has zero customer service skills! My boyfriend picked up our order this time and as soon as he got in the car the first thing he said was “I’m never ordering from this place again babe, that lady is so rude!” She is super disrespectful and if you call you will find out for yourself! There’s tons of Chinese’s restaurants in this city and we will be finding another one and never returning they’ve officially lost our business! It’s a shame! You do not treat people like this, get someone different to take orders! She should be working in the BACK and shouldn’t even be allowed to deal with customers!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was in St. Catharines for a couple of days and had a craving for Chinese food. The staff were friendly and the food was prepared quickly. Affordable and great tasting food that my wife and I both enjoyed back at the hotel. Thanks China Garden =)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered the general tao chicken combo, and a plate of broccoli. The broccoli was great, I liked the sauce that it was marinating in. My combo's rice wasn't exactly chicken fried rice, which is what I ordered. It was plain. Other than that, the chicken was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered from China Garden on Sunday because our usual place didn’t have delivery. Was very impressed with the food. The sweet and sour chicken was so light and crispy and perfect. A million times better than the doughy chicken balls other places offer. This was not greasy and not soggy at all. Having worked in a couple kitchens, i know you have to fry things at the right temp so the breading doesn’t absorb all the oil. They really know what they’re doing here.
Their beef and broccoli is way better than the beef and pepper other restaurants offer in their combos. General Tao chicken was also nice crispy and the Singapore Mi Fun noodles were light and tasty.
I legit can’t stop thinkIng about that sweet and sour chicken. I ate it all yesterday and today I want more. I liked it so much I had to come here and write a review and tell everybody about it.
Portion sizes were great too. Our meal for 3 could have fed 5 easily. Very happy with what we received for the price we paid. This will be a new regular spot I order from.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Canadian Chinese food is basically all the same let's face it. Iv been disappointed so many times, bland and borring. As for tradition I always order Chinese New years Day wile struggling in bed from the night before. I tried China Garden on a whim today. I had to post a review, this place has FLAVOR! I didn't order much just a tofu mixed veg, lo mein and some spring rolls. I took a couple pics but I had already starting digging in, sorry. Good mix of veggies, 5 stars, I will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want mostly rice go here. I remember it use to be 50% rice and 50% other. It is now 75% rice and 25% other. If that is what they are going to do then, they shouldn't have raised prices also. I understand one or the other but not both. I even tried to explain it to them tonight and they said the combos are 50% rice and 50% other. This is the meal I was given on May 22, 2022
