About Us Child and Family Services of Western Manitoba (CFS of Western Manitoba) is a private, non-profit, community-based charitable agency, led by a community-elected and community-represented volunteer Board of Directors. Since 1899, CFS of Western Manitoba has been effectively serving the needs of Westman families and children. Besides providing mandated protection services, the Agency offers a variety of family strengthening programs and services to families.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A surprise visit was had for an close friend of mine. They spent more time discussing her current partner than the issues with the child and former spouse. Her former spouse has spent 10+ years accusing her and mentally, emotionally abusing her. CFS was absolutely no support for her or her child.
