My son has been going to CEC since he was a baby and it has been amazing. The staff are so passionate about what they do and the food is top notch.

Went in there to get my daughter Registered and after plenty talks indicating there wasn't any vacancies with one obviously getting the vibe that we dont have a space for you or your kind. I told her that's fine I'll stay in the pool until there is a vacancy, . Reluctantly she gives me a form to fill and the I got to a place where I was meant to pay $50 as a deposit and I told her I did not have it there how do I pay, and she goes " I dont normally take the deposit from people I wouldn't take "meaning there are people she intends to take. No fair entry, I was really disappointed

Safe and reliable daycare with amazing staff and programming throughout all classrooms. Would absolutely recommend this daycare for childcare and kindergarten wrap-around care.

The staff is what makes this place wonderful. We have been here for a year an a half - and everyone knows my daughter by name. We chose this day care because of the vibe. On the day that we went to do a walk through, the kids were all getting ready to go for a walk. They were all holding a line with handles and waiting patiently. I thought, unless they hire a suite of child actors, you can't fake that! After being here for a while, I've realized a few things that make it stand apart. a) Great Director - she is on top of everything b) Great Staff - they have very low churn, which I think is extremely rare for child care. They provide the staff professional development days, and it really shows. This means that there is always a focus on what is being taught each week. c) Dedicated Cook/Kitchen. She is amazing. She always makes an incredible spread for the for special occassions (i.e. Christmas Concert), and sometimes, I wish I could pay a little extra to get in on the meal plan! They bring in musicians and go on field trips to the local seniors home. My daughter is only 2, but some behaviours they encourage at school, and that come back home: a) Saying please and thank you consistently b) Helping clear the table, and clean toys up when prompted c) Keeps her face and hands clean while eating (and asks for help if it's really messy) Every day my daughter tells me she loves all her teachers - and names them one by one. PS - The 1 * review - I'm fairly certain the Director meant she didn't want to take and hold on to money for the sake of it. The fact that the deposit is only $50 - means it isn't to make money. We had to give almost $2000 for a deposit at another company - and it took us 3 months to get it back - and only got it back because we contacted the better business bureau. The 3* review seems to be just someone walking by the daycare and didn't like it?

We cannot say enough good things about our experience with CEC. Our two boys have been there for 3.5 years now and I can honestly say that we count it amongst the things we are most grateful for in life. Excellent educators, healthy food, tons of activities and the best community of families.

We have had our child at the CEC since she was just 12 months old. It was so hard to leave our baby in the care of strangers, but the CEC staff and director were so supportive during that initial period that they made a difficult transition as easy as possible. Everyone is so approachable and the communication both with the Centre and the staff has been terrific. We were so lucky to get a space here and can’t imagine leaving our daughter any where else. From the Christmas concerts to the field trips, it truly is an enriching environment. Staff have been there for years upon years - quite a testament to a profession with traditionally high turnover. The experience has been very personal too, which is something I feel gets missed when one goes to a larger β€œchain” Centre. Additionally, as it is a not-for-profit, all of the money goes right back into the Centre. At any rate - highly recommend!

Our daughter has been going to the Child Enrichment Centre (CEC) in Calgary since she was 12 months old. From the moment we walked in for our tour, we knew this was going to be her home away from home when I had to go back to work. We have been impressed with the staff, the director, the nutrition, the learning opportunities, the outdoor play time and the social development right from the Junior Toddler Room, through to the Toddler Room and the Preschool 1 Room. We love that the CEC is a non-profit and is there for the sole purpose of the enrichment of children. We would highly recommend this centre and suggest that if you are looking for care for your young child, ask for a private tour (during these pandemic times), and you will see why we feel like the CEC is an extension of our family.

We've been sending our daughter to CEC for nearly 18 months now and will be sending our second when she turns 1. We absolutely love the center. I toured a number of facilities but from the moment I entered CEC, I knew it was the right fit for our family. Our daughter absolutely loves attending and it's amazing to see how much her personality and skills have developed. All the staff, from the director to the educators to the on-site cook, are incredible. The educators truly care and their dedication to all aspects of child develop truly shows. The on-site cook is second to none. As my daughter says, all meals at the center are 'Delicious'! Since placing my daughter on the waitlist, we've had absolutely no issues with communication from the center. The director is always on top of her game and provides regular updates and reports to the parents. I am so happy we found Child Enrichment Center and can't recommend it enough!
