So do not pay attention to the Trip Advisor rating I made about Chez O in NDG because I have never been there!

â â â â â Pretty decent place in Montreal east.
Went there for a friday lunch, didnt make reservations.
It is now a BYOB
Lunch is 12$ and includes a soup (won-ton or sweet and sour), a main dish with an egg roll and tea or coffee.
The main dish is served with rice and salad.
Good service.

â â â â â Lots of choice for 13,99. Ate the dumplings (takes 30 min to prepare , I wasn't in a rush) they were worth it, good dumplings and I would say if your not in a rush to order it . I also took the lemon chicken and It was very good everything was served with wonton soup wich was delicious :).

â â â â â I do not know whether it is customary to have slow service or not at Montreal restaurants, but it was awful. We went to the restaurant at 5:30pm and left at 8:20pm. The food took forever to be served. Probably there was 1 chef and 2 waitstaff. Poor restaurant management.
We had to ask for the check 3 times. 4 out of 5 of us did not like our meal. But by the time we were served our food, it was too late (time-wise) to go elsewhere.
Do not order the crispy spinach...unless you like roasted spinach tossed in sugar. Yes, you read correctly....sugary spinach. Yuck!

â â â â â Never disappointed when I dine here. Was with friends/colleagues I hadn't seen in a while and they all agreed it's a great place for good food at a more than reasonable cost. And you can bring your own wine.

â â â â â Nice little place, I had the table dâhĂŽte 24$ I got sweet and sour soup, spring rolls, red curry shrimp and veggies with rice. It hit the spot and didnât break the bank. It was takeout so next time Iâll eat in the dining room. Staff was friendly
