While he was doing my hair he gossiped with his assisant and it made me feel so uncomfortable. I never went back for this reason which is a shame because he a very good stylist.

He’s the first hairdresser that has actually cut my hair the way I like it consistently. I recommend him to all my friends who want blonde or even for barbering .. he’s just the best .

He's now translated his work and skills to Chez Gerald where he continues to grow and cultivate his skills. Every time I walk into Chez Gerald I feel apart of their small community while treated with respect and integrity. Chez Gerald is a company that has a strong moral compass that continues to grow and grow! I can only wish that the best years are yet to come for you guys!

Not only is it a beautiful salon in general, Chloe was able to turn my cherry red hair into a balayaged brunette masterpiece. I've never looked at myself in the mirror so frequently. Gerard is very kind and knowledgeable, and I enjoyed meeting him too. 10/10 would recommend. If you go anywhere else, you're making a mistake.

I went in with a vague idea of what I wanted and Chloe gave thoughtful suggestions to help me reach a decision without making me feel pressured. She was also brave enough to be honest with me about needing to cut 1-2 inches of length in order to properly clean up my ends. Stylists I've seen in the past have only trimmed the tiniest amount off because I said I was growing it out. However, the damage always remained. With Chloe's approach, I may have lost a couple of inches in growth but I have no more fried ends and my hair has not felt this silky and soft in ages. I barely have any tangles when I brush it now! The salon itself is clean and modern. There were only 2 stylists, which I was told is typical except for Saturdays when there is a 3rd. I really enjoyed the quiet, calm environment. It's so much more relaxing than a big salon where you have to shout to be heard over the noise of 8 blow dryers and 14 other conversations. I was offered tea, coffee, or water while my colour processed. I left feeling like a million bucks. I highly recommend checking out this inviting salon.

My fiancé and our two daughters also love him. He knows exactly how to get you to your desired style/colour without damaging your hair and uses only the BEST products. I’ve started purchasing and using everything he uses on my hair and I will never go back to anything else! Chez Gerard’s other stylists are also always so friendly and welcoming. Even though I always go to see Mikey they remember who I am and make sure to greet me and my family when we come in. The salon itself is so clean and decorated sooo nicely which makes every visit even more exciting. Will continue to visit and recommend to everyone!!
