It was easy, fun and interactive. As always, Barry provided great entertainment and created enthusiasm and fun for our group. If you're looking for something fun to do with your staff either virtually (until we are back to some normalcy) or in-person one day, Cherry Tree is the way to go!
S	Sonia L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic! Barry did the DJ’ing and the live-stream for our COVID wedding back in July, and made our evening so fun and unforgettable. He played a bunch of the songs we asked for, played them in a really effective order that made it fun for everyone, and didn’t play any on our “no-list”. He really got the flavour of our culture and was everything we hoped for. Barry started off the celebrations with the “shoe game” or the “newlywed game,” which was really enjoyable for us - and talked to the guests just the right amount. We had our own MC, so Barry didn’t need to do introductions of the wedding party - but it’s something he offered to do initially. Also, he insured that we got the perfect grand entrance with the song we chose for it. We only had a couple of kids at the wedding, and the party was tailored perfectly to everyone in attendance. Barry also video-taped our ceremony so we could live-stream it to everyone who couldn’t be there in person. His knowledge of the equipment, how to connect everything to the internet properly, timing of the ceremony, and venue insured that we were in good hands. Thank you!

His energy was amazing and he was not only able to get the younger people dancing but all the older people were up and laughing and jiving. I think this is an incredible accomplishment. Barry's idea of waving goodbye to the people on livestream was also ingenious. His team elevated the occasion to utter joy and everyone was laughing, clapping, and moving around. The flow of the evening was natural and perfect. From a ceremony to hora dancing to beautiful dinner music made the night. The feeling of celebration evolved and magnified as the dancing music continued. I thank Barry and his team for such a magical night.

Barry was immediately responsive and flexible. Although the streaming events were in two locations on two different days (one inside and one outside), his sound and camera work was excellent. He live streamed the event in real-time and then provided us a recorded link to share. For all the work we needed he was reasonably priced and very easy to work with. We would recommend him for weddings, funerals, business and fundraising events.

Our daughter had one of the first bat-mitzvahs back and perhaps the first large bat-mitzvah party allowed in Winnipeg at the time. Barry and his team melted away 2 years of hesitation and isolation in a few minutes and had us all doing the hora, dance competitions giving speeches and playing games all night long. They made this normally stressful event and in our case extra stressful time just flow from beginning to end. Thanks Barry for all the great work, advice and planning.
