Chasers Bottle Depot

During my current Covid 19 layoff I have been collecting recyclables that are just thrown in the trash or on the ground. I live in the Vancouver area but am visiting with family in Coldstream this week. On my daily early morning walks this week I have collected over 150 cans which I returned to Chasters along with my brother and his friend's recyclables. Vancouver area bottle depots in general are not general kepted well. Chasers on the other hand was extremely clean and had plenty of tables and bins to sort your bottles. You can park close to the shorting table which makes counting much more efficient. The lines moves extremely quickly with one person counting the bottles as his fellow co-worker punches the total in their system. The two employees we dealt with were extremely efficient in counting the bottles. Unlike most bottle depots, they were very positive, welcoming and quick. The depot also gives full deposits on all beverage containers including losse beer cans. This is not the case at a good portion of licenced return locations. Chasers should be hired by Return It to film a video on how to run a depot efficiently and successfully. Clean, well organized with plenty of plastic trays and carts. I can't say enough good things about Chasers. I wished I lived in Vernon as the canning is great and the depot experience is even better. If I could give 5+ Stars I would. Canning in Vancouver is like renting a cheap motel room. You get a bed but you also get a dirty room etc. Returning recyclables at Chasers is like staying at first class Vegas hotel without the resort fees! Great business. Vernon and area residences are extremely lucky as Chasers is the exception not the norm when it comes to bottle depots.

They're well organized, quick and efficient. Good to know you can also drop off old paints and styrofoam packaging.

I like all the guys that work there very respectful and polite, the older lady that works there is very rude and disrespectful. She just went and took a bottle of my cart and tried to walk away with it and I said politely that it says its recyclable and she cuts my off and said in a very rude tone that she didn't not care what it said, last year a wasp was chasing me around my bottles and I was swatting at it to get it away and she literally argued with me saying that shes worked here for years and that she has never seen a wasp my first time going there she gave me and my cousin trouble for putting pop and beer cans together total accident and she got really rude and bitchey.

These guys were so nice and helpful. I am very appreciative of them. and their service.
