V	Valerie Tabor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We moved into Oxford Gardens last January amid all the Covid regulations and we are still impressed with the way the staff have handled all the rules and all that had to be done during this stressful time. We started out on the third floor and after waiting six months we were able to obtain a place on the lower level with a patio. This was all due to Jeff Rikley who went "over and above" to help us find a place where we could call "home" Everyone here, Staff and residents alike, have made us feel at home and welcome-------staff called us by our first names after only a week which we found incredible given the amount of people who live here !! God willing, we hope to have a long stay in our "new home" and although we still miss our garden and home terribly after 57 years there, we hope to create a new garden in the flower bed outside our door and along with all the new friends we have met here it will not be long before we truly feel we are "home" Our sincere thanks to all the staff for your concern and courtesy towards us. During Covid in particular, I have been overwhelmed with gratitude with the efforts taken to keep everyone safe. I’m so happy my dad can call Oxford Gardens home. The kindness, support, care, dedication, and commitment shown every day from management and all staff is very comforting for each resident and their family. The past months of COVID-19 has been challenging in homes in Ontario, but here everyone works endlessly every day to keep everyone safe,, and follows all protocols. This accomplishment cannot go unnoticed. Congratulations! I extend my sincere appreciation to each staff member for taking such good care of my dear uncle! Thank you!

From the pre-move meeting, moving day and now the settling in phase...excellent. I have heard only good things about the food, the facility is clean, there are a variety of activities and the staff already know my mother in law's name and preferences. Having on site doctor is very helpful. Having an on-site, full service hair salon is a bonus. Thank you to Jeff, Chantel and all of the folks behind the scenes ♥️

They do have a doctor and nurses on site, plus shuttle bus for shopping and appointments. Located in an older part of town with nice parks close by. They have been vigilant with masking and all residents received 4th vaccine this month. All visitors must rapid test at entry. They have worked really hard to keep residents and staff safe. PSW is contracted out and is the only downside. They are not very reliable. Not sure if this is always an issue, but has been a consistent challenge during the pandemic.

The staff were unbelievably helpful in moving him in to his new residence !! Thanks to Jeff for all his help and Shirley for helping to get his TV up and running. Great place and our cousin's first meal he said was fantastic. All the staff I ran into today were just so friendly and helpful...it was truly a great experience. Chartwell are to be commended !

Living alone with increasing difficulties in keeping a house on her own, she is now safe, secure, and happy with her recent move into Oxford Gardens. The Staff and the Administration have been wonderful, caring, and professional . The Residents she has met, so far, are friendly and helpful as she finds her way around her new home.
