★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently, I had the pleasure of a tour at Chartwell Orchards to consider a placement for my mother. Although my mother is now being transferred to a long term care home, I would highly recommend the Orchards as it is a beautiful, clean and well run facility. Immediately when I entered, I was impressed. My meeting with Serena was beyond expectations, she was warm, caring and sincere, and answered all my questions. She showed true passion for her work and expressed sorrow and empathy when I gave her details regarding my mother's problems with her current assisted living home. She was even so kind as to visit my mother there and brought her a plant, knowing it was doubtful she would be able to move to the Orchards, which was way above and beyond. I believe this Retirement Residence would be a fantastic place for anyone and I am pleased to provide this review.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We choose The Orchards in Vineland for my Dad because we were very impressed with Natalie Dunn. Natalie was very kind, compassionate, patient, knowledgeable, understanding and answered our endless questions. We felt Natalie really listened and was extremely helpful during the entire process. My Dad is excited for his new home and we feel comfortable that he will be safe and cared for. Communication with Natalie exceeded our expectations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We became a part of the Chartwell Orchards community when my parents moved there just over two years ago. Each experience that we as a family had with the staff at the Orchards gave us increasing confidence that mom and dad would be, not only safe, but welcomed and valued.
Months of pandemic were a true test of the resilience of the retirement community and staff. We have watched the staff, under the leadership of Lisa Ranger, navigate the constantly shifting government rules and restrictions of the past months with professionalism and positivity. Communication was frequent and clear, including emails to families and letters to residence as changes were implemented and the staff found creative ways to keep residents involved and upbeat.
The Orchards staff continue to partner with us as a family, navigating challenges that mom and dad encounter, always seeking to find the most appropriate and compassionate supports for their emerging needs. My visits with mom and dad often include chats with staff, sharing their observations and offering suggestions that might enhance the well being of my parents.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was a resident at Chartwell Orchards for a short while, while I was waiting for my apartment to be ready. As soon as I arrived, the staff were all welcoming and knew my name. I loved coming down for breakfast every day. Lunch and dinner were also good. I really liked that there is an a la carte menu, if the meal of the day wasn't my cup of tea. I also enjoyed the daily exercise programs that were offered. The residents here are all very friendly. The management team were always quick to respond to any of my concerns; they even helped me find my keys! When I'm ready to officially retire, I will be heading back to Chartwell Orchards to call it my home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mom has beginning to moderate Alzheimer’s and when it became apparent that home wasn’t safe for her anymore I had to find a place that would keep her safe and have a staff that was kind and skilled. Well I found Chartwell Orchards and I’m so glad because my mom has been moved in for a few months and is absolutely loving her new life there. My mom has made friends w the staff and residents and she is so involved in activities and so healthy and nourished w great food that life is so much better for her. My mom was also able to move in w her beloved cat Fraser and the staff always check on her and love to visit Fraser as well. It’s a tough decision to move your loved on into assisted living but The Orchards has been amazing and I’m so grateful for the kind attentive staff and how they look after my mom. I thought my mom would have a hard time transitioning but everyday when I talk/visit with her she thanks me for finding her new home and I’m at ease knowing she’s so comfortable and taken care of
