All the staff know who he is, and who the family is when we visit! They are so caring, and soooo patient with the residents. I would recommend this retirement home to anyone! I've met friends, and enjoy participating in activities like crib and bingo. Linda does a great job at organizing monthly crib tournaments. The staff and management always welcome us with a smile.

Linda, the entertainment coordinators is very good with getting the kind of activities that are greatly appreciated and enjoyed. Seeing so many happy faces and hearing comments regarding the way staff and volunteers treat people make me really realize that this is more than just a place to live. It is truly a wonderful place for the residents of Chartwell to call home. Something I love about Chartwell is the way the residents are treated with respect and dignity. My favourite part about volunteering here is witnessing the happiness that the residents experience to continue a full filling and exciting life. The various activities and outings that are offered here make for a fun environment and give them something to look forward to on a daily basis. I would especially like to thank the staff and management for valuing our roles as volunteers and including us as part of their team. Thanks Chartwell and keep up the wonderful work.

They go the extra mile to cater to our needs, Linda the activities lady is a bundle of energy, nothing is too much trouble, we have had very pleasant experiences on her bus trips. The same professionalism can be attributed to the volunteers who are also hard working and very good at making sure we are looked after. Toni is an excellent manager who makes Chartwell feel like home, not an institution. The Dining room is run like a high class restaurant and Robert has developed a very good menu and if you don,t care for the fare of the day you can always order something else. Al is without a doubt the best maintenance manager we have encountered, most of the time problems are solved the same day, he is always pleasant.

The facility itself is beautiful, clean and well-maintained. The variety and number of fun social activities available to the residents is unbelievable. I’ve lost count of how many field trips she’s been on! As my aunt’s needs have changed, the Chartwell staff have been awesome in discussing the various items and adjusting to suit. Our entire family is happy that our aunt loves residing at Chartwell and that she feels well looked after, safe and enjoys every day there. Thank you!

My wife and I have lived here at the Residence for almost a year.. The cuisine is exquisite, a great deal of care goes into the preparation of meals on a daily basis. Front office staff are marvelous and provide assistance when needed.

The building amenities are nice, dad really liked the food and the live music was such a treat. The people working at this residence seem to enjoy what they do, are engaged and are professional. Thank you so much for providing safe and comfortable refuge for my dad, so appreciated.
