I was disappointed. We didn't catch the bus to Victoria because we were late. The tour guide we bought said that Victoria took the boat ticket to refund the ticket fee. As a result, the tour guide in Victoria refused to accept it and did not refund it. Secondly, the shopping guide attitude is very poor, excluding Chinese food. This is their most failed trip. This company has been shirk, no one is responsible for it

全世界最糟糕的旅游体验就是翠明假期。我们订了维多利亚2日游。收费是华人旅行社最贵, 服务是最差最差的。全程导游基本不说话, 收全额小费的时候脸也不会红。先说第一天, 把客人带到维多利呀市中心时,让大家自由活动2个半小时, 导游根本给我们介绍。有客人建议先去酒店休整一下再开始游览, 导游黑着脸说不行。因为这个团不包餐饮, 我们计划着自己去一些特色餐厅。到吃晚饭时导游骗大家要带大家去酒店了, 把车开到一个荒凉破地要求大家下车吃自费中餐, 饭是隔夜的, 菜看得出一点也不新鲜。想象的出客人在这受罪, 导游在欢快的数回扣。更令人生气的是, 吃完饭后车子又兜会原来市中心的地方, 原来入住酒店就在要我们自己玩2个半小时的地方!!!请国人们一定小心别订这家的旅游项目。
The worst travel experience in the world is the Cuiming holiday. We booked a 2-day tour of Victoria. The fees are the most expensive for Chinese travel agencies, and the service is the worst. The tour guide basically does not speak, and his face will not be red when receiving a full tip. Let's talk about the first day. When taking the guests to the center of Victoria, let everyone freely move for two and a half hours. Some guests suggested going to the hotel for a break before starting the tour. The tour guide said with a dark face and said no. Because this group does not include catering, we plan to go to some specialty restaurants by ourselves. At dinner, the tour guide deceived everyone to take everyone to the hotel, drove the car to a desolate place and asked everyone to get off to eat their own Chinese food. The meal was overnight, and the dishes were nothing new. Imagine that the guests are suffering here, and the tour guide is counting the rebates cheerfully. What is even more annoying is that after eating, the car will go back to the original city center place. It turned out that when we stayed at the hotel, we were asked to play for 2 and a half hours. Please be careful not to book this tour project.

2 story hotel and high quality service and bus. No delays and right on time. Amazing restaurants. 75% are buffets. In Banff, we stayed in a 2 story hotel with lots of good places to go. Lots of picture opportunities and is just overall great.

This review is on behalf of my father’s vacation experience on the Rocky Mountain 4-day tour in July of 2017. After listening to him recount his experience with Charming Holidays, I felt compelled to write this review to share his with potential consumers. He and two friends went on this tour. The itinerary was great. The views were captivating (as expected of beautiful BC). Accommodations were also fine. Things go downhill from here, though. Throughout the trip, the coach’s air conditioning did not work. Additionally, the tour guide’s unwillingness to help/poor problem solving and bad attitude made this trip almost torturous. Starting from Day One, the bus’s air conditioning did not function. Over the next few days, the coach was changed twice more, but the air conditioning still did not work. This is during BC’s peak summer weather, where the coach’s interior was as hot as a sauna. I can only imagine it to be suffocating. Worst of all, the tour guide was not sympathetic to their situation. The most he did was pick up the phone to call head office to change coach buses. When the subsequent coach buses continued to malfunction, and the other passengers began to inquire, the tour guide was defensive and would argue that he already called head office and did his best. In addition to his bad attitude, the tour guide had poor language skills. The tour promises a trilingual tour guide to cater to their Mandarin, Cantonese and English-speaking customers. Aside from being fluent in Cantonese, his Mandarin and English was near incomprehensible. He did not know proper word usage. Worst of all, he was mistranslating information that he spoke in Cantonese, to other non-Cantonese speaking passengers! This is unfair to the other passengers who paid into this tour expecting a fluent tour guide. There was also no music or movies played on the coach over the duration of the trip. When passengers inquired, the tour guide would simply say that the driver didn’t like noise and music would make him fall asleep and would be a hazard. This is a poor excuse! When the passengers expressed their dismay over this, and many other issues with the tour guide that I won’t go into detail here, the tour guide was unapologetic. After all this, the tour guide still demanded a tip, and said that it is stated in the contract that a tip is mandatory. Of course the passengers would comply, but how is it fair that the customer comply when the service provider did not deliver on their terms? I.e., the itinerary promised a “deluxe air-conditioned coach”, but there was no air conditioning, nor was it a “deluxe” experience. Overall, the trip’s downfall was partly the coach malfunction but most of all the tour guide’s attitude. Charming Holidays should consider who they bring onto their team, as this tour guide is quickly tarnishing any positive reputation that Charming Holiday has. The tour guide had zero empathy for the passengers, poor language skills and knowledge of the attractions, was defensive, had a bad attitude, and made it clear that he didn’t care about Charming’s customers by arguing with them. It is hard to believe that someone with 10+ years experience (the tour guide proclaimed), that he would treat his tour passengers this poorly. Passengers would have been more forgiving and easy going about the hiccups throughout the trip if the tour guide had been more friendly and more helpful. Overall, 1 out of 5 stars, for the itinerary and scenery, no thanks to the customer service. (This review was originally posted on Yelp.)

DO NOT BOOK ANY TOUR FROM THEM!!! they shouldn't even receive one star , i book a tour to hawaii for my parents who only speak very very little English. The Charming Holiday gave us a written document with beautiful description on how the tour is programed and serviced. I paid the whole package upfront and even booked direct flight to Honolulu and told them not to worry because there will be a tour-guide on the other side speak Mandrian take them around for 6 days. On their first day arrival, the guy who picked them up told them that they won't have same guy tour them every day. and on the 4th day, the package i paid is two island tour travel. they have to check in 6am to the airport to catch up domastic flight. and the tour guid who picked them up from the hotel just DUMP them in the airport and left. My mom asked him for help at least just help check in. the tour guy refuse to park the car and even told my parents that they will not help even if they give him tips. or say no tips for that airport transfer is okay with him. what kind of tour is that ... lukcly there's wifi in the airport and she is able to call me from wifi app. I have to help them check in from the phone camera they have no idea what to do with check in . Thanks for a traveller who speak Mandrian who step in and help. thats the tour package they get.... almost $2000 CAD per person for the 2.5 star hotel and chepest domastic flight (no seats assigned). now my parents are left in the airport heading to the island tour alone with no information provide. and I am trying to contact the tour company. they respond with message saying please call us in the office hour.
