★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Chan Centre For Performing Arts is one of the top venues in Vancouver.. this last Friday, August 9th we were absolutely lucky enough to attend the final concert of the Vancouver Bach Festival 2019....The Purcell Performance was exceptional.. and those in attendance demonstrated their appreciation with a very robust standing ovation...we will be buying our tickets for the 2020 season

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mom sang here tonight but the organizers over sold tickets so I couldn't get in but I've been here before the sound is real good acoustics and it's a real nice concert hall also the surrounding area is very beautiful.. You can just about see stars not so bright though..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great venue to see Vancouver Pops in concert. The seats were comfortable. The seats we got were closer than I thought at row 18. I kind of wish I sat further up or on the side balconies so I could see more of the orchestra.
I loved coming out of the performance and into the lobby that has floor to ceiling glass so we can see the forest and trees surrounding the building. It's very calming and refreshing! :)
Parking is convenient and plentiful as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The acoustics are amazing. It's been designed for non amplified performances, so every instrument, and individual voice can be heard. Not a bad seat in the house.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice venue that's has an intimate feeling and can hold a lot of people. The parking lot is just next door and easy to pay with the QR code. Park on level 5 to avoid stairs and elevator.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last week was my first time to be in Chan Centre for Performing Arts. Due to covid, I wasn't able to visit many places in UBC. My graduation was held there last week and I can say its probably the best place I've visited at UBC, when it comes to design and architecture. I especially love the balcony.
