Best Buddhist temple in Canada

K	K W on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ August 2021. A Buddhist temple for praying to the gods. With the number of statues, it's worth visiting. No pictures of the area. There's an old saying that you don't want to take pictures of the spirits and take them with you. Otherwise, it's a good area to visit. Though it does seem to be more commercialized.

The grounds were well cared for and beautiful with very ornate detailed statues and overall very peaceful vibe. We went for vegetarian lunch which was very reasonable ($10 for a big bowl of noodles). Everything else was crazy expensive though ($63 for a tea light). Wish the staff was friendlier because we wanted to stay and ask questions about the temple, but they brushed us off and kept trying to sell us more stuff at every opportunity. Bad strategy because if items were more reasonably priced I would have glady bought more, and should be open to all financial backgrounds.

E	Eddy Tse on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Less crowded nowadays even on special occasions. Basically pay tributes to ancestors and relatives, then leave. Place as always, clean and tidy. Volunteers are ready to help in any way you don’t understand. Pandemic protocol still in effect.
